Bulgari Black. More interesting, less expensive and ultimately far more satisfying. MIP is ok but, doesnt beat Black.

MIP. It has a little of BB in it plus a little more from start to finish!
Midnight in Paris - much better formulated IMO.
There is a kind of a tradeoff here. BB is more original and edgy, but MiP is much more refined and better constructed IMO
First come, first love..
Rubber is an added bonus; love that smell of new tires!
If someone can smell me at more than an arm's length away, I'm probably wearing too much of whatever I applied; if she can distinctly make out the top notes, then perhaps I left the house a bit too soon..
I tend to compliment people on their frags to make short talks rather than anything more meaningful.
¿Si o No?
Black, because I think it smells better and I find it much more wearable...

I've spent a HUGE amount of time with both and can definitely say they're different enough to justify owning both. MiP is my evening out scent or even works well with a suit. BB is my jeans and sneakers scent I mostly use for casual/daytime situations. Both are very active in my rotation especially in the colder weather now.
I wear BB in the spring and summer and MiP EDP in the fall and winter.
Midnight In Paris, edp, all the way.

MIP ( i'm sorry i can't get EDP , I need him to last longer on me ).
MIP by a huge margin, simply because at a certain stage in Bulgari Black's development, if LITERALLY evokes a rubber tire smell, I mean it's instantly recognizable.
I prefer Bvlgari Black, by a wide margin. I own Black and have a large sample of Midnight In Paris.
Yes, they have a bit of similarity, but they definitely do not smell the same. MiP smells like a halfway point between BB and Armani Code, with a nod toward the feminine rather than the masculine, though it's absolutely unisex. That's ironic since Bvlgari Black is the one listed as unisex, not MiP, but Black smells far more masculine to me than MiP. To me, Black smells more mischievous. It smells darker and perhaps naughtier. It's more of an evening scent. I love it.
Both BB and MiP are excellent, and both are surprisingly affordable, but I choose (and love) Black. I wouldn't be surprised if many love them both, and I can completely understand why some will prefer MiP. As I said, they're both excellent, and they're both underpriced in my opinion. Without a doubt, they are different enough to be worth owning both.

MiP is BB with all the most interesting notes taken out of it. MiP is for those who prefer something safe.
Midnight in Paris EDP.
As someone mentioned, it's BB perfected. With layers of other creamy notes accompanying the rubber accord which is done beautifully.
With BB, all I get is burnt rubber, rubber and rubber. Ugh
BB wins for me. It is darker, a bit edgier with more of the burnt rubber. MiP is sweeter, softer an more feminine to my nose
MiP hands down. theres something in Black that I just cant explain why I utterly dislike it. it smells like a michelin factory

Lalique Pour Homme
MiP has been a favorite in my collection for better than a year now, and i just recently got a bottle of Bulgari Black. They do smell very similar, but i get much better projection and longevity from MiP (edp or edt). The Bulgari smells a little less feminine imo, but they both smell so similar, i'm not sure how often i'll actually reach for Black over MiP. I get that Bulgari did it first, but VC&A did it right.
Bvlgari Black is so much better imo. Actually, I may be one of the few people who completely dislikes MIP. I have only tried the EDP, I may like the EDT, but I hear they are quite similar. To me, MIP EDP smells like a watered down Bvlgari Black mixed with a watered down Dior Homme, and some extra cheap floral notes.

Midnight in Paris EDP (2010)

BB is harsh from the top and MIP specifically EDP is very smooth tranquil as vanilla(tonka) is so soothing and can't never over spray on it, perfect romantic scent that will entice those around you in close proximities and never offend: So yes Midnight in Paris EDP is my pick....Cheerios
"Thank GOD for the nose, for without it we would not be enjoying these beautiful created Scents" also Remember "Balance is everything and the key to appreciating "
Have both in my collection. I use MiP almost exclusively as a date scent. Bulgari Black is more versatile.
Both are great bottles btw. Both awesome scents. But MIP is refined and the "smoother" version. But gotta give BB credit for being the original.
I do like both with a slight edge to MIP here. Black is a fine scent but it is just waaaaaay way too soft. I like when others notice that I am in fact wearing something. MIP is slightly better in that department, though really not by much...
Black! It's got so much more character.
MiP for me....
