Default Tried out Le Male like it but are these better?

I bought a bottle of Le Male by Jean Paul and like it so far, but was looking at others as well that was wondering if they were better.

    Angel Men
    Burberry London
    Versace Pour Homme
    1 Million
    Versace Dreamer
    Armani Code

I'm wondering what do each of these smell like and what is the projection and longevity of each one and which one of these do you think smells better than Le Male? Le Male to me smells very minty vanilla with a hint of lavender, that I quite like. Also which one of these would be best for the work environment?

The ones below are worthy IMO.

    Angel Men
    Burberry London
    1 Million
    Armani Code

For me longevity and projection are fine.

I own those three and I like them all. Out of the three, 1 Million easily has the best projection and longevity. The worst out of the three would be Burberry London but I like its actual scent the best. This is only after one wearing, I tend to get better projection and longevity if I use it more frequently so Burberry London might not be as bad as it is right now.

My personal favorite out of the bunch is Burberry London. It's true that it doesn't have monster longevity, but IMO it's also not as bad as it's made out to be in that department. It actually projects quite strongly for the first hour or so, and then begins to work it's way closer to the skin. However, it's longevity as a skin scent is quite good, and it stays rather rich on the skin, so while it might not be projecting much at that point, when you get up and move around a bit, the sillage from it is actually pretty good. It's a fantastic scent, either way, and seeing as you can often find a 100ml bottle online for under $40, I think it's quite a bargain.

    Burberry London, count me in.

However, you tried Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier - which is very vanilla-laden. It is a modern classic that has sold very well across the globe. It came out the year I graduated university and I started my life in the 'real world', so it will always be in my collection to go back and revisit those days. I still get complimented on it. So, if you like the feel of what Le Male is giving you, I recommend you try TL Pour Lui (a Maurice Roucel creation) - it is more ethereal and articulate. Less heavy.

And, if you want to step up to a new level of quality in fragrance and want a fantastic Oriental Woody, try Cristobal Pour Homme by Balenciaga (2000). It is...exquisite.

    Cheers,

I would recommend Versace Dreamer and Burberry London. Versace ph is not similar to JPG le male. A*man is loved by many but i dont like it. I am not even going to comment on 1milion and Armani Code.

Unsure whether actually better, yet with an extra complexity if compared to Le Male, I'd suggest from this list:

    Burberry London
    Versace Dreamer
    even Armani Code

Ok good opinions so far. What about these fragrances?

    M7 Yves Saint Laurent
    Givenchy Pi
    Platinum Egoiste

M7 is dark woody, with some sweet top notes. Excellent, but it has a masculine, brooding vibe. Pi is too sweet for me. Rather than Platinum Egoiste, I'd suggest you look into the plain Egoiste, which is a warm, smooth, sandalwoody scent with a touch of candied fruits.

Angel Men - Le Male is slightly better
Burberry London - London is better
Versace Pour Homme - Le Male is better
    1 Million - 1 Million is better
Versace Dreamer - I say they are tied
Armani Code - I say Le Male is better

All of those are good ones though.

    Code
    Angel
    London
    Possibly 1 Million

M7 I've heard a ton of great stuff about. I've heard its really hard to come across the original real thing though?

Burberry London s the best smelling by a long way IMO, but not good longevity, which is a huge shame!

All of them don't have the lavendar feel of Le male. For office Burberry London would be safest but I personally prefer Angel Men, 1 Million and Armani Code

I think Le Male is on an equal level with the others you mentioned.

I personally prefer Burberry London but wouldn't say it's necessarily better as far as quality is concerned.

London has a spicy cherry top (awesome opening, best opening of the bunch by far) and transitions into a spicy tobacco scent with a bit of a cumin note.

Angel men is chocolate, vanilla, a heavy dose of tar, and patchouli for the most part. Very strong, very gourmand and completely unique. You definitely have to try it to see what it's like for yourself. You'll probably love it or hate it at first.

The Dreamer opens up like some kind of super synthetic cinammon urinal cake, in my opinion, and transitions to a nice, sweet tobacco fragrance with some oriental qualities to it.

1 Million and Verstace Pour homme I don't have enough experience with to really comment on, but I remember One Million was kind of sweet, and pretty loud, but good.

Armani Code...meh. Fresh oriental, pleasant, but kind of boring at this point, at least to me.

Le Male's not a bad one to own, imo.

    Angel Men = Le Male
    Le Male = Burberry London
Le Male > Versace Pour Homme
    1 Million > Le Male
    Le Male > Versace Dreamer
    Le Male > Armani Code
