    Lightbulb Dioressence men?

I just recently smelt dioressence do you think a man could carry it off? What other female fragrance a man could wear?

    IMO No.

No problem for me. The current version is less rich than the vintage ones.

I think most female frags can be worn by men without problems, save perhaps for the sweetest and syrupiest florals (though I'd say women would be well advised to avoid them too). Indeed in some cases a brand will use the same frag both for men and for women, just changing the name.

A man can totally pull off Dioressence in both vintage and recent formulations.
Dioressence is a mossy green borderline-oriental. As Cacio said, the older ones
have more oomph, thus making them somewhat more male-friendly than the
    new formula.

I totally agree, but dior have changed the bottle and the ingredients in latest version, does not have the same clout, but still smells nice, should I be bold and buy a bottle? Could you recommend anymore fragrance that could be classed as "unisex" and totally pull it off

If you like it, why not?

Among other classic florals that I think men pull off I'd put Arpege, Chanel No 19, Cristalle, and the butchest of them all, Bandit.

Mitsouko, Dzing, and Bvlgari Black spring to mind. Be bold!

Dioressence has enough spiciness that anyone could wear it.

There are hundreds of fragrances marketed to women that could be worn be either sex (and are).

I was under the impression that Bulgari Black and Dzing! are marketed as unisex.

Yeah well, I use it. But I only know a handfull of other dudes online
who rocks the mighty Elixir. It's most definitely not for everyone.
A complex and dense floral, which should be male-friendly, being a
chypre in its core, but somehow isn't. Even most women wouldn't
wear it, it's that dense ... and so utterly, utterly unmodern!

Try it ... maybe you're one of the lucky few who the Elixir loves!

I thought of AE as being very green when I last tried it, not especially feminine in the traditional sense. Most greens don't smell especially suited to either sex exclusively.

A really extraordinary fragrance -- so well made and costs little. Totally feminine though imo.

It truely is. But, it's nowhere near a crowd pleaser.
Aromatics Elixir requires some acquainted taste.

Back to dioressence I asked my female friend today what she thought of the new formula? Her reply was she was out for dinner with friends last week and her sister asked her if she was wearing aftershave lmao
