Sounds pretty good. Enjoy.
I received my bottle of this 2012 limited edition a darker intense version of the original with added note oud. The bottle is really nice in deep green that is practical black.
It is a very intense version of the original with the licorice really ramped up on high. I do not detect any oud on its own unless it is ramping up that licorice note.
Longevity is great and the scent really projects you really have to like licorice to appreciate this scent.
Sounds pretty good. Enjoy.
Sounds wonderful.
I have really been wanting to try this one, but haven't come across it anywhere yet. Tempted to blind buy it off their website, but can't bring myself to pay retail on it. I'm still hopeful it will hit the online discounters.
sounds good, i have been looking for it for quite awhile but didnt see it in stores yet.
I actually also like the L'Eau version as well.
I got mine on eBay from the UK. With USD exchange it came to 50.00. Very hard to find state side.
Interested, but also haven't seen it. I'm also reluctant to buy unsmelled from France. Where did you find it?
I blind bought it. Waiting for my cargo to arrive.
I've been DYING to try this one since it was announced. Cannot find it anywhere except on eBay, and I'm reluctant to spend what they're asking. I too am hoping it hits the discounters soon, but since it's a limited edition, I'm not going to hold my breath.
Thx for tip, skism
So PerfumeEmporium.com (a very reliable website by my experience) has this available state side. I just ordered a bottle because the price they're asking isnt too bad for a blind buy ($47.99 w/ free shipping). I'll report back when my bottle arrives in the mail. Happy sniffing!

If smelling good was a crime, I'd be serving a lifetime sentence....
- OE (olfactoryexperience)
fragrancex has it for 41.60$ / 100 ml (Tester). just bought one blind.
I got a hold of it this week. I think its nice, very similar to the original but instead of "walking into a sweet shop" smell, i get something more grown-up and refined. The licorice is less mass-produced straight out of a lolly bag, and more some sort of special reserve licorice that a licorice-baron would dine on.
Also, tonight i am layering it with Black Aoud. The two having aoud as a note, thought it might work? Im not sure right now, the two just seem to be competing for my nose and not really meshing.
