Beyond any doubt, standing out amongst so many designer releases, this one succeeding to be rather unique where so many other scents may fail and/or remain too generic.
Thread: Now hear this! |
It is wonderful stuff. I think one of the keys is not to use too much. The sillage is intense on DHI. One spray is perfect for me. I can smell myself all day and it's not overpowering with one spray. More than that makes me feel like I've overdone it.

Actually boys, ADG is the king of designers. Just ask the sales associates at any fragrance outlet who has sold the most. DHI bows it's pretty little head in shame at the one true king.

DHI is a good scent, I'll give you that, but it is still NO Chanel Égoïste or Dior Fahrenheit for that matter...

dh is good but only to most of the fragrance enthusiast, if you where ask a guy on the street if they liked it they would probably say its too sweet and not a pastry sweet but like a wet smooch sweet. its great but it takes the right person to appreciate it. i am guessing this would sell better to women but its good to know this is marketed to men and not to many wear it.
Any opinions I post here about frags only reflect MY PERSONAL TASTE and only my personal preference which could change at any moment.
Chanel Antaeus is No 4 on the list
Dior Homme Intense is No. 5 on same list
Should not Antaeus then be your favorite designer scent ?

we have seen the enemy...and he is us.-Pogo
I've not yet smelled DHI and from reading the many comments about it I am curious.
The best designer fragrance I've ever tried is Third Man by Caron. And if you don't count Caron as a designer house, Gucci Nobile, though not currently on my signature list, is my favorite.
I don't have a signature fragrance. My signature changes a little bit every day, why shouldn't my fragrance?
Imo the original vintage Dior Homme is better than DHI. But the reigning king of designer is indeed AdG.![]()
AGREED![]()
I don't know about that. They have a movie star in the ad campaign, they've got Guy Ritchie to do a mini-commercial, and I've seen ads (sometimes two page spreads) in GQ for DH, DHI, and DHS. I'm willing to bet Dior did the market research and the numbers were favorable. Just sayin'...
DH is pretty close to the top on that spreadsheet from the most complimented thread...
