I just received samples of both of these in the mail and I have to say these are now #1 and #2 in my arsenal. Are any of the other Tom Fords on the same level? Why do they have to be sooooooo expensive? Oud Wood does project that much but I could still smell it after a shower. It's oil-based as well, correct?
Remember that while it is perfectly acceptable to criticize the content of a post - criticizing the poster is not.
Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve other individuals' acknowledgement or respect.
Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather, and Neroli Portofino are wonderful Tom Ford scents.
Creed? Royal Oud, Green Irish Tweed, Virgin Island Water, Millesime Imperial, Spice and Wood, Pure White Cologne, Jardin d'Amalfi, Original Vetiver, Original Santal...

Your just smelling aventus loll
+1 for Neroli Portofino
Congrats. I think most of the Creeds are wonderful, and very worth the $150-$200/4oz price tag you can find them for online.
The Tom Fords are also outstanding, but, I would argue, more of them (not all) are much more love or hate type fragrances. I personally love and own Tobacco Vanille and Italian Cypress. If I wasn't an addict, those two could get me through any situation, all year round.
i like aventus, mi and virgin island water
tom ford: tuscan leather and oud wood
around $240 for 100ml of tom fords, when you use 10% off at neiman marcus and 8% at e bates
Tom Ford Oud Wood in the brown bottle and not the grey bottle IMHO. Supply and demand. If you got the Oud Wood, that's great because it seems the most versatile. Don't care for the summer ones as they lack in performance but happy for those who do enjoy them.

If you love Oud Wood, go after Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir.
Its available on Amazon now for very cheap by comparison. Similar stealth performance.
Tuscan Leather and Neroli Portofino are the two that I chose to purchase bottles of.
Patchouli absolu is outstanding, and the whole line is imo pretty high level
I bought Tom Ford Oud Wood 2 weeks ago and it has become my #1 fragrance!! It has dethroned Aventus as my #2. Both, amazing fragrances.
