Default Extraits - where to spray?

OK, so you've bought your first extrait parfum, the stuff may be exceptionally strong and so you can only do one spray at best. So, where do you spray that one single, powerful spritz?

Depends. For something like L'Heure Bleue, which I find quite strong, I normally spritz my neck towards the back, then smear it about a little. For Jicky I just spritz a couple of times on either side of my neck ( and then some more for good measure). Other extraits I still prefer to dab.

Light spray on chest. Don't like to rub in fragrances, but in a case like this one spray on forearm and rub on the other forearm....Done!

    I don't like spray parfum.
    I prefer dab on. Always.
    Where to spray, depends
    on how strong it is.

As Le grand duc, I prefer to dab (eg inner elbows). A couple of dabs should be ok, but one can do more. Women can apply to a cotton ball or small piece of cloth and place it in their cleavage. Men cannot, but a scented strip or handkerchief in the breast pocket (everybody wears suits, right?) will work wonders too.

I read Spanx is trying to market an undershirt for men that pushes in the belly and tries to push up whatever's on the breast. Might work there ...

Well now I know why extraits come in dab vials 😊

I prefer to dab too (very charming i would say) but if i was forced i would spray in the neck.

I don't have any extrait but I like spraying the chest, it keeps anything from becoming too powerful while virtually guaranteeing longevity (warmth, natural oils, hair, etc)

it depends on the bottle, and the strength of the parfum

if it's a spray bottle, then 1 spray to the chest is enough for me

if it's a dab, then on the neck and wrist
