    Default Chanel PM Concentree----dissapointing. Meh.

So I had just run out of my stalwart Burberry for Men, used as a do all fragrance, including office scent.

After sampling and shopping around, I picked up the Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree.
I smelled it at Lord and Taylor, liked it, and bought a bottle from there.

And after wearing it for two days, I get the same initial citric first blast and then.....nothing. As if I'm not wearing anything.
It simply disappears on my skin.
Looking into likely flipping it on eBay or something.

Sorry you had a disappointing experience. Personally I like this one a lot.

It's one of the few for which I have backups. It's superb.

I think Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree is a wonderful scent; it is classy. The longevity is very good, but on my skin, the projection is decent at best.

To my nose, in this scent, both the notes I like most in the regular PM and the lasting power are (in a positive way) exacerbated. Thus, for me, the Concentree version is like all the qualities, strengths, fragrant sensations of the regular PM are even additionally heightened.

I loved the scent too----- in the demo bottle, but upon taking mine home and wearing it, all I got was the opening citrus.
Honestly, if I hadn't purchased it from Lord & Taylor, I would suspect that I was sold a fake from a mall kiosk store.

It sounds like you're describing the original (non-concentree) Pour Monsieur - which is more along the lines of a classic EdC, and while a great classic, is more fleeting than the concentree.

I should also say that, its January in NY, and I have very dry skin.
I bought Rive Gauge which is supposed to be a projection monster, and I get nothing from that too.
