A true classic IMO.
While I was embarked in a journey that took me visiting most niche houses I forgot how good Armani eau pour homme is. It seems it has been reformulated though as I find it weaker yet still fantastic. I was never able to wear Eau Savage since there was a leathery note in there that gave me a headache which was never the case with Armani ph.
The only easy day was yesterday
A true classic IMO.
I remember how good the fragrance was in the Eighties which led me to try it out a year or so ago. The reformulated version did not last forty minutes on my skin and it seemed thin and watered down from what I remembered. I was so disappointed as I had the cash to buy it but had to leave it.
Oddly this was the first fragrance i ever bought back in 1996 far too grown up for me but i still really liked it.
I thought i was going mad but i recently purchased a 100ml and it just feels like its lost its balls, i remember the old one smelling heavier and sharp and i loved it. Its still a great fragrance.
my signature scent, however i think the reformulation that took place last month with new bottle design is slightly better than the version that was released last year (but both with moss and not oakmoss, i guess the later has more moss) - haven't tried the new incarnation, but when its released here - looking forward to purchase.
A fantastic fragrance. For a classic EDC style, I would go for this over any other. I hope it hasn't changed that much with the recent reformulation.
It WAS great. I do not know if there had been further reformulations but the version I bought last year flatters to deceive. It lacks depth, it feels hollow. I don't wear it anymore as it only serves to remind me what I'm missing in the vintage.
One of my absolute favorites and a versatile classic on almost any given occasion.
The announced 2013 reformulation doesn't mention Carnation, Lavender or Rose. Its just not going to be the same...
