Lightbulb Diptyque's Volutes EDP or Serge Luten's Chergui?

    Hey Guys,
Just put on a 2ml sample of Voluted EDT, never thought that i'd like this from the note pyramid and i am blown away, the musk+tobacco+honey is not only carnal, enticing and totally bewitching!, i am thinking of buying the EDP version; as i also here Chergui by Serge Lutens is somewhat a "better" version of volutes, i am also leaning towards the lutens, which one do you think i should go for? Chergui or Volutes EDP?

Why don't you just get the Volutes EdT? The EdP is quite different, sweeter and less smoky. I found longevity similar. I would try before you buy, lest you be disappointed.

Both great IMO. Preference to the Lutens.

I love Volutes but it has poor longevity on my skin, even when I spray pretty extravagantly. Lucky if I can still smell it an hour later. Chergui (like most Lutens), on the other hand, lasts all day and into the night on my skin with just a couple of spritzes. So I'd also lean towards the Chergui.
