    Default Work and formal occasions

Ok, guys, which notes do you find more comfortable wearing at work (assuming the "traditional" jobs, we all know that there are too many different jobs...) and for formal occasions? And what are the ones you simply canīt stand?

I feel comfortable with smooth vetiver, citrusy and woody based scents both for work and formal occasions. Personally, I canīt stand spicy, sweet or gourmandish scents, least of all if these fragrances are strong.

    Take care.

I don't really differentiate for work -- my colleagues are a pretty easygoing bunch.

For a formal occasion I would probably plump for a 'classic' like Derby or Great Jones or maybe a nice citrus cologne like Asketts.

Although I can wear anything I want, I tend to enjoy more wearing citrus, woody and spicy fragrances.

For formal occasions, it seems like I lean towards fresh cedar scents. Usually something like the unrivaled Creed Spice & Wood or Armani Cedre Olympe. However, it can be any number of things based on weather or my mood, but those are generally the types I find most formal / classy.
    Seasonal favorites:

    1. Creed - Spice & Wood
    2. Creed - Aventus
    3. Tom Ford - Grey Vetiver
    4. Xerjoff - Fars
    5. Dior - Vetiver
    6. Creed - Green Valley
    7. Clive Christian - 1872 for Men
    8. by Kilian - Straight to Heaven
    9. The Different Company - De Bachmakov
    10. Creed - Royal Scottish Lavender

I wear whatever I have. Depending on the occasion will determine how many sprays I use.

Though mostly freelancing from my home office, during the occasional work/formal occasions in the more traditional sense of the word tending towards more-office wear style fragrances (often soapy, inoffensive, barbershop-style, fresh linen scents, some citrus though less aquatics since I find most of them too casual, possibly lighter vetivers), while the too powerhouse/boozy/leathery/Oriental/tobacco dominated, often smoky/muskier etc. fragrances get fewer wear, unless the amount of sprays, splashes is highly limited and also the particular occasion is either very formal or artistic, alternative, bohemian, encouraging a bit more brash fragrances choices.

There's not too many scents that I wouldn't wear to work. Some, however, I go lighter on the trigger on...like Slumberhouse and TF Amber Absolute.

Very well, then. Itīd be probably the last fragrance Iīd wear at my work, but to each his own.
