Default Something like Dunhill Fresh without its boring top notes?

I have been wearing this fragrance a lot lately, mostly for its dry down. It has "that new car smell" written all over it. Or as I saw one Youtube reviewer say it smells like new tennis balls or a new pair of sneakers. I totally agree with that. The opening notes just bore the hell out of me though, reminds me of Nautica Voyage mixed with grape jelly.

So does anyone (who has actually tried/owned Fresh and is not just looking at the notes) know of a fragrance that has Dunhill Fresh minus the top notes in its DNA?

Or.. Do you know a fragrance that smells like new sneakers or "that new car smell" - but must be wearable!

    Thanks for looking and helping.
    My Ultimate Top 5:

    Fahrenheit (1988)
    Paul Smith Man (2009)
    Burberry London (2006)
    Prada Amber pour Homme (2006)
    Arpege pour Homme (2005)

As I remember Dunhill Fresh smells like a watery Fahrenheit, so I would recommend Ferrari Uomo or, maybe, Dior Aqua Fahrenheit.

NeroUno by Montegrappa...Fantastic Stuff. It's very close to Dunhill Fresh but it's more woody.
If you want I can send you a sample of it.
