Thread: Can men wear Silences by Jacomo?
Can men wear Silences by Jacomo? I hear its very similar to Chanel No 19.

Personally would not.
Yes, I own it and use it. It's a wonderful clean green scent, semi-chypre. It is close to No 19 only in the sense that it has a green galbanum note, but it has none of the flowers and powderiness of No 19. In general, I think that green scents are very suitable to men, and see no problem not only with Silences, but also with things like Cristalle, Private Collection, and the like.
Insecure men have reported genitalia shrinkage when doing so.
But that happens when insecure men do anything.
I smell marshmallows!
Don't know No 19 but I've seen it being compared to Halston 1-12. Personally I think it's not hard to wear. Just wish it would be a bit louder, as this lady likes his scents to project.
This is the same thing I thought when I first tested this fragrance back in 2002, in fact, the first impression made me convinced that this is actually a male fragrance.
Anyway, even after I found out it's a female scent, I'd still consider wearing it.
