Perhaps Ambre Precieux by MPG
Thread: Best Amber Fragrance for Men
I am trying to find a great amber fragrance. I tried Ambre Sultan, which was ok once you get past off the bitter Italian herbs. Ambre Fetiche was very nice with the iris absolute and francincense, but I cannot find it anywhere. There is another one I tried from Profumnum called Ambre Aurea that was pretty spectacular but it was pricey! Of the ones I tried I think I like Ambre Fetiche the best. Any other suggestions of amber scents I can try that are similar in composition and not too sweet?

Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense.
L'air du Desert Marocain, although perhaps not strictly an amber fragrance.
Let me be the first to suggest Histoires de Parfums Ambre 114. Gets a lot of love here.

I just sampled this one today. OK, I am officially a believer lol. Ambre 114 is the best amber fragrance I have ever smelled. It is a rich, buttery, decadent Amber. It's so decadent, it seems like I can taste it. My bottle will be with me on Monday.

I'm very attached to Gold Leather, just released...A bit of fruit opens, with a dark Tuberose and suede, and ambery Leathery beauty.

Ambre Precieux & 114 are great for pretty straight up renditions.
LADDM & Opus VI are also both excellent and very original - actually modern classic territory for me - in the way amber is incorporated into more complex compositions.
You should try Bond no 9 Harrods Amber. It's not too ambery, but it's nice and smooth. My SOTD as well. Great projection & longevity.
Ambre Nuit and Ambre Topkapi.
Parfums d'Empire Ambre Russe: amber with booze, leather and tea.
Hermes Ambre Narguile: amber with tobacco.
Balmain Ambre Gris: amber with a gourmand treatment.

I don't know about best but two amber scents I really love are -
Prada Amber Pour Homme Intense and Baldessarini Ambre!
Jaguar Classic Amber is not to bad either if you need to find a good smelling amber fragrance for cheap.
Living each day one spray at a time
Have recently discovered and fallen n love with the warm and creamy Amber Narguile.
Try Prada Amber - clean, daily scent or Baldessarini Ambre - more of night out or romantic evening occasion type of scent.
Another vote for Ambre 114 here.
HdP Amber 114 is quite soft and a little feminin for me. It smells good, of course. I like Amouage Opus VI, Montale Blue Amber, PdE Ambre Russe.
Amber Nuit by Christian Dior and Amber 114 by Histoire de Parfums
Amber leather - Knize Ten
My vote is for Dior's Ambre Nuit
+ 1 Ambre 114
+ 1 Ambre Nuit
D&G The One
Armani Prive Ambre Orient
Bond No. 9 New York Amber
Apart from Prada Amber and, as a strictly personal preference, not necessarily a recommendation, Ambre Sultan, also Cerutti 1881 Amber, the amber notes in Aazzaro pour homme (granted, a leathery lavender fougere, but, at least to my nose, pleasantly pronounced on the amber).
Hermes Ambre Narguile
Dior Ambre Nuit
HDP Ambre 114
You've gotten good advice about the three you should try after Ambre Sultan: Ambre 114, Ambre Precieux, and Profumum Ambre Aurea. These are the best.
Amber Absolute. Big hunk o wood with incense and vanilla. Big bold Amber.
I love Ambre Fetiche. I really like Amber Absolute. And I love an Amber scent that gets little attention here, which is 1942 ambre nobile. Herbal incense amber.
Hunt for the Ambre Fetiche and if it remains elusive go with the Profumum and try not to think about the price!
Balenciaga pH - deep amber and patchouli with incense and a light red fruit. I usually can't wear incense OR fruit, but somehow the balance here is impeccable and I dig it. Super potent too.
Opus Oils Heavy Sugar - not that different from the drydown of Balenciaga, but deeper and more animalic. Don't let the name fool you, the balsamic accords are not particularly sweet.
