I dislike them both, but definitely prefer Allure Homme of the two if forced. Longevity and projection are both excellent, IMO.
    Current Top Favorites:
    1) Portrait of a Lady (EdP Frédéric Malle)
    2) Giorgio for Men vintage (Giorgio Beverly Hills)
    3) Dia Man vintage edt (Amouage)

Both on the longevity or sillage, it beats Allure Homme.
I got many compliments on it...

Allure Homme (original) is my favorite complex fresh fragrance; it's like wearing 3 different fragrances whenever I put it on.

On the other hand, La Nuit de L'Homme is an olfactory piercing, synthetic mess.

I agree with you fully about La Nuit and Allure Homme being very complex. But Allure smells bad to me so I'd choose La Nuit even though it's a synthetic mess..

Though I enjoy and appreciate both, I like (subjectively speaking) La Nuit better. La Nuit is, in my opinion, a tad more versatile and a slight bit more youthful.

I bought la nuit with high expectations but that scent just went till 70% of what I was hoping it to be (my bad luck I was addicted to DHI before I tried La Nuit), I have tried allure pour homme just once so I may not be that much familiar with the scent, though with just one time use I liked allure homme better as it was more fuller. Still if its a date or if I'm sticking close to my significant other then I would vouch for La Nuit but if its just going out with friends or for work then I'd choose allure pour homme ( but I would most likely layer it with some Burberry London or something else like oud oil)

^^^yeah for me DHI really took a big dump on the other classy, sweet scents and I find them lesser in comparisson.

Allure Homme. It's not even close.

Wow! With all the hype La Nuit gets, I assumed it would win in a landslide. Personally, I don't care for either, but Allure Homme comes closer to being something I'd enjoy.
In my swap list: Gucci Pour Homme (2003) BNIB.
I'm looking for Reflection Man or Andy Warhol (silver bottle w/Andy's face)

Allure homme. I have owned both and Allure is far better, easier to wear, and is better at night and in the cold

I prefer YSL L'homme to both but if forced to pick it would be La Nuit.

I love La Nuit, and don't really care for any in the Allure line.

I like the sweeter scents however.
