Love the way you kids think. Imaginary splashing and fragrance pageants.

I'm in Guerlain With Love, the heartfelt scent I wore on Valentine's Day. This, Jicky, and Shalimar put me on a similar wavelength, especially on the drydown.

    Hey y'all -

More sparkly aldehydes for me, I'm back in Chanel 1932 for the rest of the day ...I just can't seem to stay away from this stuff!

Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan

I'm wearing Kerosene Copper Skies today. This is such a thick, rich amber ... very kickazz and desirable

Mike, I totally get the fragrance "themes" in your head! I do the same thing ... sometimes, I start to post the reason why I'm wearing a certain frag and it sounds so corny. <shaking my head> Other times, I do what I call a fragrance mini-series ... a few days of the same note, or brand, or something. It keeps it fun, keeps it real ... it's all good.

lilybelle, I got these rain boots for Christmas and I'm still waiting for a day to wear them!

    Aren't they CUTE?!
    I've trademarked the color bleu

Shades, those are cute boots! Mine are leopard print. I did actually get out in them today for a while.

Mike, I love the fragrance pageant.

Mike, I *completely* get that -- I do it, too, especially the similar/complementing notes. And I'm betting there are other lovely BNers who do it, too. I'm also thankful for being able to sample so many wonderful fragrances and to give and receive recommendations here. It's a wonderful community. I hope today was a less chaotic day for you. Did you switch from the Cartier for the evening?

I'm still in Lys du Desert. Not surprisingly for me, the sweet yet still floral dry-down is *really* appealing. My goodness. I've really enjoyed the heart and base. I may refresh so I can enjoy it all over again.

Shades, those boots are adorable. I'll have to look for a Huskers version.

Hey EX K how are you? I have been enjoying those samples that you sent me! Your a Doll!

Mike, I love this quote from earlier-"And it also makes me feel incredibly grateful, to be able to HAVE so many scents to work with (as bottles, decants, samples). When I joined BN many years ago I would have DREAMED to be able to wear three Estee Lauder scents all in one day, or any line for that matter, I just had 4 bottle of cologne and that was it. Today, I am awash in fragrances and exploration is always a possibility for me, just as easily as it is tonot explore and wear my favorite scents."
THAT'S A GOOD REASON FOR US TO BE FRIENDS!!!

SOTD: Leather Oud by Dior, haven't decided what to put on this evening?
    I'm not OLD...I'm VINTAGE!
