Default Virgin Island Water - projection & longevity issues

First of, I would like to say a few things about this fragrance. It's currently (and have been for a while now) one of my all-time favorite fragrance. The rum, lime and coconut combo is beautifully done, it's like candy to my nose. Sweet & sensual, exotic & tropical There isn't any fragrance like this on the market, at least nothing that I've come across. With that said, I'm deeply sorry and kind of angry that the fragrance lasts up to 2 hours with no projection what so ever. It gets on my nerves how a fragrance can smell thing freaking magical while having crappy p&l. As far as I know, I'm not the only one with p&l issues with this frag. Many, many people adores this fragrance, and hates it at the same time due to performance issues. I've only tried it at home so I can't really complain too much, since I haven't been out in public and in high degrees weathers, but I will as soon as summer arrives.

How is the p&l on you? Are you like me, want's to buy a bottle but feel like it's laking performance? Give me your thoughts!

    Thanks in advance.

I really like VIW as well. Projection and longevity isn't great for me either, but I'm content with it. I get around it by spraying a couple times on my clothes and it seems to do the trick. I do this for SMW as well.

Spraying on clothing is what I typically do to extend the longevity and projection on my fragrances, especially Creeds.

Same here. Spraying two shots to my shirt really helps with projection and longevity, at least for me.

No longevity problems or projection problems for me with this scent.

Yes, spraying on your shirt helps immensely. I can still smell it several hours when I do that.

There are just some colognes that necessitate spraying on clothing, and VIW is one of them, I think.

really really bad skin longevity. Not worth it for me. Spray on shirt is fine, but frankly you can just use a mist spray with tropical vibe and get the same outcome.

VIW actually last pretty well on me. My decant is from a batch about 2-3 years old, and maybe the lime doesn't last, but the coconut note goes on all day if I spray it under my shirt.

I've a decant and it lasts the entire day. Sillage is quite disappointing, however, just a few hours.

Mine lasts at least all day; I can clearly smell it after six or seven hours. Sillage is average, but not poor by any means.

The weather is fast approaching when it will become my daily weekend scent.
