Default Opinions for a Salty Seadog scent for Summer

Would love to have your opinions!

(You can select more than one from poll)

Looking for a salty seadog scent (or two) for summer, something that radiates the fresh saltiness of the sea, but also smells natural. Not a calone fest etc.

    - Considering:

    • Sel Marin
    • Sel de Vetiver
    • Sel de Fleur
    • Brezza di Marre
    • Millsime Imperial
    • Erolfa

Love to hear your opinions regarding which are best and why.

ps: I have only sampled Erolfa, and it didn't do too much for me.
Well, it's cheaper than therapy... edit: No it's not...

L'Artisan Parfumeur's Cote d'Amour is again available for this summer as a limited edition. It's exactly what you are looking for. Like another salty fragrance, Sel de Vetiver, this is also made by Celine Ellena. Saltiness is subdued, but it's there.

Not only does this smell natural, it also is 100% natural. It's second fragrance in L'Artisan's natural perfumery line.

I'm only familiar with MI on your list, but I'd also as Inis by Fragrances of Ireland to your list.

Yes never thought of Inis... It's nice... You always forget what's out of your back door! Inis HQ is about 10 miles from my house..

+1. It's a very realistic take on the sea, and smells great. It will get some compliments too.

MI is great too but it's not much of a sea fragrance to me. It's all about the watermelon at first and then the ambergis.

My vote goes to Heeley Sel Marin. It is wonderful. Sea spray in a bottle, uplifting, stylish, elegant. Very modern. BUT, if it is a salty sea dog that you want then I don't think that you could go wrong with Sel de Vetiver.

Sel Marin is by far my favorite. If you are talking about Fleurs de Sel by Miller Harris, it's also good, but not very sea-worthy.

You should check out Tirrenico though, might be something you'd like.

My MI doesn't have a very strong sea salt note.

What notes do you find MI to have predominately?

Going to airport soon so I'll definitely try AQVA.

My MI's melon note is the most dominant.
