Check out Bright Leaf from Murdock. Just got a bottle a few weeks ago. Straight up tobacco leaf with a touch of cedar.
Hey Guys,
Love Tobacco Vanille, Volutes (tobacco to a certain extend) and i swear theres some in vetiver tonka,i am really becoming fond of the "pipe tobacco" note - what else can i get? - love ones which project well with good longevity, no problem spending up to $240 USD.00 ; Serge Lutens after a few promises failed to deliver samples to me despite a few promises, so technically i've just given up on Chergui or Fumurie Turque.
Check out Bright Leaf from Murdock. Just got a bottle a few weeks ago. Straight up tobacco leaf with a touch of cedar.
I wouldn't give up on the Fumerie Turque; one of the best out there...
Check out Mona di Orio's Cuir, I get more heavy smoky tobacco and little leather.
Also - Odori Tabacco / Habanita by Molinard / Bogart PH / Pure Havane / Costamar Tabacca / Aramis Havana / Back to Black By Kilian
now, aramis havana sounds very interesting as well as Odori Tabacco!
If you say pipe tobacco, the first one that comes to mind is Histoires De Parfums 1740. For other types of tobacco, give a chance to Amouage Tribute and Hermes Equipage and, finally, Patou Pour Homme.
Ralph Lauren Polo
Versace Man
Rotation
CREED Aventus
Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur
DIOR Homme Intense
Guerlain L'IDGExtreme
Chanel Platinum Egoiste
Chanel Allure Edition Blanche
Jean-Paul Gaultier Le Male
Thierry Mugler Pure Malt
I'd love to find a fragrance that matches the experience of opening a box of the old oval Balkan Sobranie cigarettes. Or a tin of Balkan Sobranie pipe tobacco (the black and white tin): what a gigantic, tarry, peaty reek. Fumerie Turque is sweet like a classic English pipe tobacco, eg unsmoked Clan. For Turkish it would have to have that Yenidje pungency.
It's above the price limit, but I also recommend Tribute as the most potent tobacco around. 1740 is excellent too, though it's more an immortelle than a tobacco per se.

Montabaco by Ormonde Jayne - I'm wearing it today!
Smelling good on a budget!
Tabac Aurea -- the best fresh tobacco fragrance I've come across so far. It's a parfum extrait, and it projects very well and lasts 12+ hours on my skin.
Thanks guys, i find Tribute to be laced with other notes especially very "austere" type of vetiver, which does not work in my country because of the heat and humidity, but i am going to give Equipage by Hermes a sniff, sadly Havana isn't sold here and i am not going to take a chance on blind buys anymore, goin try and sniff out Histoires De Parfums 1740 ; Ormond Jayne though must wait until i hit their london store late this year.
Perhaps Czech and Speake's Cuba? It's got tobacco, also some nice mint, rum and lime.

Tabac by Profumo.it is a wonderful tobacco scent.
When I wear this I can literally pucture the golden tabacco leaf and foil which wraps it.
Yet another vote for Pure Havane
Feuilles de Tabac - Miller Harris. Beautifully rendered tobacco-leaf frag.
ointments and perfume delight the heart....
#BBOG!
For sweet tobacco, try By Kilian Back to Black and Costamor Tabacca.
+1 on Odori Tobacco.
For drier, less sweet try Illuminum Piper Leather.
For natural scents, try Liz Zorn Meerschaum. A great pipe scent.

If you like the sweet kind of tobacco frag I would recommend:
Back to Black
Acqua di Cuba
Creed Tabarome
Bogart pour Homme
Chergui
Acqua di Cuba - S. Maria Novella
Tom Ford Tuscan Leather....I get more tobacco than leather in this one, and it is a very rich, sweet tobacco.
If you MEAN robust then I do recommend Herod from Marly:

I'm working an a beautiful Cigarbox fragrance now.
Spanish Cedar wood oil, Tobacco Absolute, and Musks, with touches of Leather, Sage/Rabbitbrush codistilled, Patchouli, Cassie, Pemou root, and Rum. I think it might be ready for the March 24th San Francisco Artisan Fragrance Salon event.
Mike Storer was here in my Perfumarium last week, and said, "What's this?" as he picked up the vial... He sniffed the vial, and said "It's DONE!". He probably said some other nice things to compliment it or me, but since I can't remember them, I won't embellish or put words into his mouth.
Bu I am pretty happy with it too.

I've been interested in this one. Can you relate it to another tobacco fragrance or describe it to us a little better ?
I also liked Mustang cologne. It was a cheapie but had a really nice tobacco note to it. I have been trying to find something comparable in a high end version but cannot find it. M Kors did not work out for me.
Don't like Odori or TF TV. Cuir by Mona de Oro was a mess BBQ meat and cigarettes. Would I still like Aurea ?
Thanks
