Never tried it.
Thread: Ambarliquida L'Erbolario
Being someone who has studied trees/plants my whole life, I'm always intrigued by perfumes whose themes are based on a particular species. I purchased Chene after sampling a few Serge Lutens, because of it's realism that I could related to. When I saw a fragrance based on a Sweetgum (although not the common species, Liquidambar styraciflua, here in the states....), but the famed Liquidambar orientalis (Storax), I had to try it. I bought the soap and I love it! Now, I'm contemplating getting the edp, but I promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore frags for awhile.
Has anyone else tried this?
I think I tried it in Italy, but don't remember it well. L'Erbolario is quite cheap in Italy, while it's relatively expensive here - so if you ever have a friend who goes there, ask him to buy it for you.
I have a bottle it's good stuff very rich sweet amber scent think of it like the amber a little goes a long way. Mega sillage and longevity. I find all L'Erbolario edp good quality for the price.
I have other soaps, too. The Myrrhae is quite bitter, but sweet: nice. The Patchouly soap is great, but the Sandalo smells strange to me (sample of the body wash). The Muschio bar is another winner. I have a sample of the "bark" shampoo: very masculine and clean. Meharees is another nice scent I've sampled in a body wash: very warm and oriental.
