Thread: I bought TV.

  1. #1

    Default I bought TV.

I started a thread "Will I like TV?" and I had the opportunity to buy TV without sampling.

    No risk no fun, right?

It is gorgeous, sexy, mysterious and delicious.
It smells pure quality and special.

I bought 100 ML and I donīt regret my decision.

I see why many people like and adore TV on this forum.

Are there any other Private Blend series I should try??

They donīt have to be similar to TV. I have heard good things on Tuscan Leather, that I will try one day.

TV is my all time favorite.

I am glad that I bought this one.

Congrats on your purchase! I'm a big fan of the Private Blend.

Here are some more you should try, in order of my preference at the moment:

    Noir de Noir
    Oud Wood

Amber Absolute - discontinued, but a great amber scent.
    Italian Cypress
    Tuscan Leather

As long as you're happy - that's all that matters.

While I like TV, the only one I settled on as purchase worthy was Italian Cypress. Check that one out, especially if you like Polo or Halston. To my nose it's got kind of a mossy/caramel thing going on
    WANTED
    samples of:

    Amouge Bracken Man
    MDCI Le Barbier de Tangier
    Mancera Wild Fruits

Wow on blind buying TV! That's Insane, you must have a lot of cash to throw out.
Tuscan Leather is not a safe blind buy as TV was for you.

Congrats! Also, try Noir de Noir -- it's a little more daring than TV with its dirty rose note, but it also has that nice, sweet but darker vanilla dry down.

    Love TV. Good buy.

I personally don't like Tuscan Leather, but I would recommend you try (if you can find it) Amber Absolute. You should also try Noir de Noir, Neroli Portofino, Bois Marocain (like AA, it has been discontinued), and Black Violet from the Private Blend line.

Aside from TV, Tuscan Leather is the only other private blend that I enjoyed enough to buy. I don't think the others are worth the price point.

Agree with both of these. NdN is great, but I had to wear it 3 or 4 times before "discovering" it. Don't care for the early stages, but the choc/vanilla dry down is worth waiting for. Like TV, a little goes a long way, so easy on the trigger.

I was so so close to blind buying TV but I got a sample, and my god was I happy I did! I really thought I would love it based on what I had read, but turns out it's one of my most hated fragrances of all time (all I get is super cloying honey sprinkled with badly burnt fudge). On the other hand Tuscan Leather is a true masterpiece.
