Default CREED Tabarome / Bois D Portugal WHICH LASTS LONGER

I have yet to purchase a CREED fragrance but these two interest me. I briefly tried BDP but it was during the summer on a very humid day. I have not tried Tabarome yet but I think I will love it just by reading the notes.

Which is a heavier scent therefore lasting longer on the skin ?

    * I see some retail outlets offer these scents in a 4oz bottle. Some look like they have a sprayer and others don't. Can someone verify that larger size CREED bottles have sprayers ?

    Thanks

They both last about the same on my skin.

I prefer Bois D Portugal. As far as I know they all have sprayers except for the Flacons.

Tabarome is nice (though it is not always a favorite here) but you need to like ginger as this (not tobacco) is the predominate note . I enjoy both, prefer BDP and also feel that it lasts a lttle bit longer. I find Tabarome to be somewhat more linear than BDP.

As sjg mentioned above, they are all spray bottles, large flacons excepted.

out of the two, Tabarome last a lot longer than BdP, could it be their "famous" batch variation?

Hey HDDP - that is an awesome list of scents you have there!

To OP - I would definitely sample the Tabarome rather than blind buy. These two are not very similar.

I've never preferred a fragrance I haven't tried before. How do you do it?

    But I digress:
I can only comment on Bois du Portugal. I think my problem with it is that it's magic lies in the drydown, but the fragrance lasts about 5 hours. So figure, one good hour to truly hit the basenotes, and I'm only getting 4 hours of Bois du Portugal that I really enjoy.

My votes goes to BdP - love that frag. Get great longevity from it.

Was really interested in Tabarome and sampled the Millesime* - but was not impressed - love Tobacco frags, but as others have mentioned this is more about the ginger, so definitely sample before buying. Also got good longevity from my sample.

    * Of course Vintage Tabarome is a completely different frag, that I have not sampled, and by all accounts is much better than the Millesime.
Well, it's cheaper than therapy... edit: No it's not...

Oh yeah it is a great one! Very hard to find now and very expensive - but one of the best tobacco frags imo
