Looking forward to this one as well.
From cosmeticworld.com:
"Developed by Firmenich perfumer Ilias Ermendis, the juice’s top notes comprise an energizing blend of juicy watermelon, tangerine, crisp pear and a dash of ginger. Sun-drenched tiare flower and violet leaf are balanced in the heart with spicy coriander, while a warm background features sensual amber, tonka bean and Australian sandalwood.
Its bottle is [...] an ovular shape and rich, cognac hue are suggestive of a vintage spirit bottle."
I like the sound of this one. The bottle looks nice, and T. Bahama is usually sensibly priced. I hope someone can report back when it launches in April.
Looking forward to this one as well.

Will pass on this.
Will get a sample.
Looks like a chick's bottle.
Looking forward to trying it, Tommy Bahama has a great track record. Nice bottle - looks like a cognac or brandy.

I'll try. I think the original Tommy Bahama is vastly underrated.

I love how the watermelon is described as being juicy. Man, there's nothing I hate more than the smell of a dried up watermelon.

Notes sound nice, and the bottle looks really cool. I love original Tommy, so would definitely like to try this one.
Will try, not expecting much.
I don't mind the original and Barts St Sail. Cheap and poor longevity but they do the trick for when you just need a quick spritz. Notes sound very interesting, I am expecting this will be good but ephemeral.

Has any one sampled this yet I see it is premiere of Macy's
Will give this a try, as TB is generally one of the better cheapie lines out there. May be worth picking up for $20 when it eventually hits TJ Maxx.
Just from the notes it looks like it would smell similar to Mandarina Duck Pure Black. I love that fragrance, but it's a bit expensive for what it is and hard to find.
Some day's you're the statue and some days you're the pigeon.
Still ...no one has tried this yet. But waiting for TjMaxx....really....
I took a sniff from the bottle at Macy's a few days ago. The watermelon note was extremely prominent. Didn't give it a test on my skin.
On a related note, it looks like the licensee for Tommy Bahama fragrances is now Five Star Fragrances and not Gemini Cosmetics. In other words, expect it at a steep discount at Perfumania in 6 months, tops.
It's really quite pleasant, except for the smell (...)

Sounds very refreshing.
anyone else try this?
Im interested
I sampled this today at the Tommy Bahama outlet here - I couldn't get past the coriander, which ruined the scent for me. Apart from that, it's a rather generic release, not up to the standards of their first three hits. Of those, the great Tommy Bahama original is now available in a .5 oz cigar spray and South Seas is no more.
This house faltered, in my opinion, starting with Very Cool, and its subsequent releases have continued the downward trend. I wonder if this coincides with transfer of fragrance development from Gemini to Five Star, to which MFfan310 alluded. Sad.

In my opinion, it smells nothing like the original. It is now sweet instead of peppery and incensey. :-(
I tried this one today and it's a very good fragrance for warm climate. The SA is selling hard "watermelon, pear and tangerine notes which lead to a sandalwood base". I get that. Everything I am smelling here is synthetic but what isn't anymore. It's a nice synthetic laid back melon aromatic sandalwood. This same slightly sweet spice woods is used in many new fragrances - I'm thinking CDG Blue Santal, also Chanel Bleu - this is very similar to that lineage. I liked it, but she does not - so I will pass as well. The original Tommy Bahama - the one that was a clone of Gucci PH was a really excellent fragrance but I guess the day of those big incencey aromatic woods scents has come and gone.
