Default Ambra Aurea vs Ambra Mediterranea

Both are legendary ambers containing a super dosage of grey amber (Ambergris) and are from Italian niche brands, but what else could you say about these two if they were battle together to win an eager spot in my wardrobe (Harem)? Who should be the clear winner? And most importantly.......why?

I like them both, but if it were a choice of owning one or the other, Ambra Mediterranea would be the one.

What is it you like specifically about AM compared to AA?

I own Ambra Mediterranea but I haven't tried the Ambra Aurea. To be honest, I love the Mediterranea so much I'm not bothered about trying another amber. AM is rich, deep, rounded, has great longevity and just the right amount of sweetness for a man to wear.

l have tried both, & IMO both are outstanding & in my top three ambers along with Amber Absolute.

lt's hard to choose between them as it depends what you want from your ambers. lf you want a straight-up, raw amber, go for Ambra Aurea. lf you want something more complex, with woods, patchouli & smoke, go for Ambra Mediterranea. Both are great quality, strong & long-lasting, & not at all sweet or powdery.
