Default Diptyque Philosykos Parfum or Toilette?

Looking for a fantastic summer fig scent and frankly I'm surprised I don't have this one in my collection...

Which formulation should I get? Remember, I love compliments, longevity and sillage...

I have heard the Toilette is brighter than the Parfum....

    What do you guys think?

I own both but I prefer the EDP. It definitely lasts longer on my skin.

EDP lasts maybe an hour longer and has more greens. It is truly an amazing scent and comes alive especially on hotter days.

Just bought the EDT (actually I am wearing it now) but I wish I had gone EDP as it doesn't seem to last long which is a shame as it is a fantastic scent

Own the EDT and love it, but the majority of people seem to be in favor of the EDP for it's significantly increased longevity.

I'd say go with the EDT if you want something lighter and maybe a little fresher, the EDP if you want better longevity, a deeper woodier base, and more complexity.

Some people say the EDT brings out the juicy, fruity aspect of the fig a bit more, but I can't confirm this.

I posed this very same question during the huddler era and vacillated between the two for at least a month or two.

    Tough decision.

Honestly, this is probably the only fragrance I have ever tried where the EDP is simply stronger than the EDT. There's no difference in projection, or notes to me. The EDP simply lasts longer.

Will definitely need to try the EDP once I run out of the EDT. The EDT loses it's projection after a couple hours. On a side note, I can't imagine an EDP of L'Ombre. The EDT I have is beast mode, and I never wouldve believed it wasn't an EDP.

I originally had the EDT and they gave me a couple samples of the EDP. I wound-up exchanging the EDT for the EDP because to me the EDP is deeper, lasts longer and seems to have a more resonating fig presence. I do love them both, but if pressed to choose, I'd take the EDP all day long. Analogous to Terre d'Hermes EDT and the EDP.

Echoing many of the others above, the EDP is definitely the way to go. It lasts longer, smells deeper/richer, and is simply better overall.

Another great summer fig to consider is AdP Fico di Amalfi.

EDP hands down. Longevity is much better.

I opted for the EDT and love it. No longevity/projection issues for me. In fact, if it projected any more I would consider that too much.

Haven't checked when this was manufactured, but it is perfect on every level.
