I know, right. An unattainable brand here in the UK, so all I have are hazy imaginations and dreams. Kinda cruel to the soul, like that thing in the shop window you could never afford.

Silver Mountain Water and here’s why...

The first time I smelled this in a store on a freshly sprayed test strip, I turned my head away and said nope. Harsh window cleaner was what came to mind. The second time I smelled it in a store, same thing.

Recently, I placed an order from Neiman’s and you get to pick 5 samples. Out of my choices, there were 5 fragrances and a bunch of cosmetics. Since I don’t wear makeup, I picked the 5 available fragrance samples and SMW was one of them. I wore it to work one day and about an hour in I thought it’s starting to smell OK now, but it’s still not for me. I decided to give it another try this week since it’s hot and humid. This time, I was rather fond of it. I wore it a second time this week and I really liked it. I wore it again today and I want a full bottle. I even like that first harshness now.

So, it wows me because it went from something I initially didn’t like at all to one I can see myself wearing regularly.

Woah... when you do finally get your nose on Norne you'll be in for a surprise. It's more like burned evergreen pine forest with no top notes to speak of. It's an experience... a wonderful experience.

Not sure if it qualifies as a full "WOW" but I was pretty surprised at how much I like Light Blue Italian Zest pour Homme - Dolce & Gabbana. I expected it to be a basic dud but it performs very well, lasts forever and smells great (especially in the current California heat).

Oooo... Ill have to check it out... I had the chance to try it once and it was just bland ... Worth a second try!

My Brothers Wife was wearing it while we were on holiday and I was like....WOW...What the hell is that cheeky little number. When she told me it was Penhaligons I was quite surprised as it really doesn't come across as a Penhaligons. Your know?....Light and airy. Great staying power and really classy. Although marked as unisex I actually find it leans more masculine. Anyway....A full bottle will be purchased over the coming months.
