Recently received a sample of TF Amber Absolute. Wife commented on how nice it was. It is a beast and it keeps getting better through the dry down. A very big WOW.

Maybe we need a further level to describe what you're saying: Below 'Wow"'d might be "Intrigued By" or "Really Liked"; above might be "Blown Away By" "Absofuckinglutely Must Buy" eventually reaching the heady label of "SFW" (Sub-Forum-Worthy) and "Guaranteed Panty-Drop" or "Instant Classic" (though I might ramble that even sub-Wow's can achieve instant classic status, ie. my relationship with LIDGE).

Stopped by Sephora yesterday, and left wearing a few sprays of Histoires de Parfums' This Is Not A Blue Bottle. The opening was an immediate, very bright "wow," and it continued to wow me throughout the day. Fairly linear, but very unique IMO. And the longevity was fantastic. This one is moving up the To-Buy list (or maybe the Christmas list!), and I highly recommend anyone interested to give it a shot.

Seeing as it's been a very long time since I last experienced it, I'd have to say that what I'm wearing today - Chergui - probably qualifies.

I've been on a long term "vetiver" exploration, sampling many different fragrances containing this note either supporting or primary. And, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself seriously enjoying Serge Lutens Vetiver Oriental on my return visit to this fragrance. Enough that I was lucky to snap up a bottle for $75 shipped -- karma was in sync!

Valentino Uomo. Yes, its similar to Dior Homme and it is very sweet but somehow I really like it. For me it is far better than DHI. Definitely unisex though.

Masque Milano L'Attesa. The nicest iris scent I have ever sampled, it certainly reads as iris without going over the abyss of powder...I hate powder. In my want list but at $160 for 30ml, it may have to wait for a weak moment. The sprayers on the two new Masque releases are also the best I have seen. Definite WOW!

TF Grey Vetiver. I was checking out the new Nordstrom near my office, and I got to try a few bottles I haven't seen in person before. Grey Vetiver hooked me immediately. Probably my next full bottle purchase.

Bogart pour Homme - surprisingly good longevity, but also complexity and smoothness for such an inexpensive tobacco-gourmand

    Creed Royal Oud.

I read that technically there's no oud in it. But this is absolutely gorgeous - sophisticated, rich, and simply beautiful!
I bought a decant, and I can't stop sniffing my wrist, WOW! Definitely buying a full bottle - this immediately made its way up into my top 5!

Congrats. It is indeed a good fragrance. It's always awesome when you find something you like that much. Congrats again.

Yep, love this one too. I even love the bitter tomato leaf opening. One of my favorite juices, glad you like it too.

Art of Shaving Vetiver Citron. Every time I've worn it in the past 3 weeks that I've owned it, I've been surprised with the greenness and performance of this. I also get a compliment every time.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
