    Default Santalum Slivers

I find it odd that there are no threads on Santalum Slivers, as well as no reviews in the directory. Anyone try this one? There are only a few reviews on Fragrantica, and from what I can tell they are favorable. What does Basenotes think?

Can't comment on this particular fragrance, but personally not a fan of fragrances I've tried from this house.

Maybe there isn't a lot to say about it. I tried it, it was OK, a citric sandalwood, but there is a lot of competition in that genre.

I just thought there would be seeing as the other fragrances have entries and threads. Plus, people tend to like Kerosene as a person (and some as a perfumer).

Perhaps politeness accounts for the lack of noise. Or maybe few have tried it, who knows? FWIW I found Santalum Slivers a bit simplistic and unexciting. R'Oud Elements I thought was really very good. I've only sampled one other, Creature, and it wasn't my style. I'm sure others will think differently.

It was just ok to me. It reminds me of a grapefruit or some other citrus peel.

My favorite fragrance from Kerosene that I've tried, which is all but Unknown Pleasures. I got a used bottle in my collection right now. Fresh oranges and a rich sandalwood base. If you've tried Tam Dao, but wish it had some citrus notes, then this may be for you.

    I ended up getting a 15mL decant for $22, so we'll see how I like it .
