I think the discontinued Vetiver was affected by it.
Thread: L'artisan Parfumeur and
How - if at all - have L'Artisan Parfumeur fragrances been affected by the (in)famous IFRA regulations? Thank you, fellow L'AP lovers.
Don't know but despite regulations that might affect them, still love the house and will continue to add new bottle releases to my collection (now at 54 L'Artisan)
Overall, AP doesn't seem to have relied too much on certain key banned materials like oakmoss and coumarin, they didn't really have any big chypre. Plus, they tended to be on the light side. So my prior is that they were not affected in a major way. But I haven't smelled recently. It would be interested to smell their jasmines, since this is another danger area.
Thank you for your answers... I mailed blind a The pour un ete to my sister... now I find out she is extremely happy. (She liked it better than La chasse au papillons and Homage, my previous gifts... go figure! women's taste.... oy-oy! ) I like it myself, as I knew it from an old sample, but I was a little surprised.
The pour un ete does indeed contain some jasmine, though perhaps much of it reconstructed. Good to know it's still good (or perhaps an older bottle?). If the Homage you sent was recent, I am not surprised.
I think Jour de Fête was discontinued because of it.
