Default Think I found a 90's version of Cool Water.

What leads me to believe it's vintage is the Eau de Toilette and Natural Spray written under it. Have seen zero bottles with this on it and for some reason I think I remember seeing this written on the 90's versions. Here's the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/DAVIDOFF-COO...vip=true&rt=nc. Would like to know if anyone else has or has seen a bottle of Cool Water with this written on the bottle.

Hard to tell from the pics. I have a 4.2 spray bottle and I got it when it was first released. Just checked. Mine has written Eau de Toilette but not Natural Spray.

If it's in gold lettering, it's vintage.

I've never seen Natural Spray though (that may be a fake)

That's possible I guess, but it seems odd to me why it would be a fake on a smaller size bottle. This is either a really good fake, some type of regional branding, or this is indeed a very old bottle. Also the seller has 722 feedback and it's 100% positive. It's on my dime so I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I'll post a picture of the bottom of the bottle when I receive it. Hopefully they stamped a date on it.

What are your thoughts on it Neal? I can't find any images of a bottle with the natural spray writing on it. Could this possible be from the 80's?

Great find, I am near certain that is the real deal. That sure looks like the original bottle I had when it first came out. I wish I still kept it to be certain, but I used up my original bottle 20 years ago...

Should be interesting if this is that old to see how it held up. Hopefully it's not a bottle full of vinegar. Lol..

Most likely still fine. My bottle is from 1998 and it's okay.

Cool Water was amazing in the 90's. It just seems like yesterday. I feel vintage now.
It's been a long hot Summer in Sydney, looking forward to Winter & wearing vanilla fragrances.

Why would someone add lettering to a counterfeit bottle that wasn't on the genuine one?

At least it is the script font bottle (pre-2008) so it won't have the juice put now in the block font bottles.
I own 2x 125ml script font from 2005 and 2007 which smell significantly better than current sold juice with (imo) excellent longevity.
My 40ml from 1997 is the best though as it is stronger with less lavender and smelling extremely fresh!

I never saw this bottle but I am sure it is not faked in agreement with martinijo.
My Top 10 : (In no particular order)

    - Dolce & Gabbana: Pour Homme (vintage)
    - Paco Rabanne: Pour Homme (vintage)
    - Loewe: Solo (Absoluto)
    - Chanel: Antaeus
    - Chanel: Egoïste
    - MPG: Santal Noble
    - Guerlain: Vetiver
    - Amouage: Jubilation XXV
    - Dior: Homme Intense
    - YSL: Kouros (Fraicheur)

Received this bottle today and it does smell like an older version of CW. There's nothing on the bottom of the bottle except a stamped number of 3210 1. On the back it has Dist: Lancaster Group, USA, New York. This is all the information I found on the Lancaster Group via Wikipedia: Coty, Inc. grew into a $1.5-billion-a-year company in 1996, when Benckiser made its Lancaster Group a Coty division. (The existing Coty, renamed Coty Beauty, became the other division.) Lancaster, founded in Monaco in 1946 and acquired from SmithKline Beecham plc in 1990.

I purchased this one off ebay last night. Not sure if its Vintage but its the script writing and I've been wanting to go back to it for a long time. I can wear it some this Spring and Summer. It used to be an all time fave so let's see if it still has the magic

I bought one of the older formulation script bottles awhile back, but honestly wasn't very impressed. It had a much more pronounced sour, ambergris type note (which I hate). I actually prefer the fresher, more mint/lavender focused newer formulation. But my favorite is the Summer Fizz flanker.

I wore it wxclusively from 1993-1996 so I've been looking to see if that live is still there. I'm sure I've moved in but excited to try.
