Default Fragrance Ads (very cool website)

    Found this browsing on google:

    http://www.vintageadbrowser.com/perfume-ads

Pretty cool looking at some of these older ads. I have zero interest purchasing any of them - can spend hours just looking at the details of the posters on the site.

    Great website...

Now I must find a vintage of the perfume Gay diversions (1940 - page 3). And am I the only one who finds the brand name Djer-kiss funny?

That's awesome. The closer we get to the 2000s the more pieces of clothing comes off women lol.

I love the M7 Ad (naked man) and the old Eau Sauvage Ads, with the cave man.

That was totally fun. Thanks Cameron

The early Art Decos and beautiful Emaraudes helped balance out the silliness that really hit its stride in the 70's ("Macho is b-a-a-d, and that's good") and the horrible "Are you ready for a centaur? Centaur Cologne". [Lilybelle: Furry male model alert]

I'm striking out looking for a Heartwarmer by Hartnell, "The feminine gadget to be tucked into the bosom" and a bottle of REO "The World's First Cologne Exclusively for Gay Men", complete with the free 24K gold plate Christmas pendant, from 1973, when gay men first appeared.

I hadn't gotten to the 70s yet. Anybody ever sniffed REO? And, as shilling pointed out, Macho is quite something. Perhaps it could double as a feminine gadget, if Heartwarmer is not at hand.
