I actually keep it but now considering throwing it all away.
Is there a market where people actually buy empty bottles?
Keep them, with their boxes, and then sell them on ebay, or esty or ruby lane if they are vintage.

    Some are highly collectable.

Haven't finished a bottle in a while. I would give or throw them away.

I've kept a very few empty bottles that were kind of special to me. The others were usually thrown in the trash. My sister though likes to collect all her empty bottles.

I throw all mine away in the recycling bin as I have a tendency to hoard things.

If by "you guys" you mean masculines, I throw them away once empty. For women's perfume, there is certainly a secondary market as the bottles are very fine crystal. That said, I think that my wife throws hers away once empty, too.

I see some people who sell bottles that are nearly empty. Maybe 10% of liquid left. People will buy these instead of samples, as you'll get a little more value for your $$, plus you get a cap that you can use on a full tester bottle. For the seller, they get a pretty good return on $$ and then don't have an empty bottle that contributes to the trash. This is all providing of course that one doesn't do this often. Who needs the hassle of frequently mailing nearly empty bottles.

I wouldn't have thought that people did that, but it makes sense and is a good result for both seller and buyer.

Prediction: I'll never have another empty bottle. I'm 48 years old. I own 41 bottles. It'll never happen. I rarely wear the same scent twice in one week. And the most I ever use is 4 sprays.

One thing I would add... if it's a fragrance that you enjoy enough to buy more, be sure to keep the spray head and cap. You never know when they may come in handy, with a clogged head that won't clear or a lost/broken cap.

I learned to say goodbye to mine and put them in the recycling bin. I just don't want to hoard things for which I have no extra space. I do really like the bottles though.

That's actually a really good tip of advice. I have a while before I reach that point but will keep that in mind.

When I'll have an empty one, would give it to my cousin who loves to collect parfume bottles.

Right-O. This applies to empty boxes, too, as some testers may come with a cap but without a box.

I recycle the bottles and make them useful again by turning them into an elegant decorations. Throwing them away is not a wise decision especially for vintage bottles of perfume. Who knows, such collection might be valuable someday.
