Default A good addition to my existing collection?

    Hi,
I'm new to this wonderful community, and my existing collection includes - Terre d'Hermes, Gucci Pour Homme-2, Dior Homme Sport, Acqua di Gio, and Le Male.

What do you recommend adding to this list, and why?

I have in mind these from the YSL line - Rive Gauche, Live Jazz, L'Homme.
Would any of these be a good addition?

    Thanks.

Your list is good. In it, I recommend Rive Gauche, especially if you still find it in the tin can. It's a very fresh, clean fougere.

Other fresh things you could try include Mugler cologne and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver.

I wouldn't recommend Rive Gauche to my worst enemy. Please try it out before buying. Never blind buy Rive Gauche. I did it once and I learned my lesson.

L'Homme is an excellent choice. Rive Gauche was not as interesting for me.

You seem to like modern mainstream fragrances so I would not recommend Rive Gauche PH or Live Jazz.

Check Dior Homme Intense, Allure Homme lineup, some Cartiers (Roadster, Declaration), Versaces (PH, Eau Fraiche)
    TOP 3 hot weather:

    1. Gucci Pour Homme II
    2. Lalique Encre Noire
    3. Creed Millesime Imperial

    TOP 3 cold weather:

    1. Dior Homme
    2. Eau Des Baux
    3. L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme

    Thanks for all the replies.
I'm not restricting myself to a particular house or brand, so I'm open to all suggestions and recommendations.

Do you recommend anything from the Bvlgari line?

Bulgari Black. Very elegant and plush, but with an interesting rubber note that makes it somewhat adventurous and avant-garde.

I bet you'd LOVE Bleu De Chanel. Give it a whirl. Also D&G The One Gentleman.

    Thanks.

How do you consider these for additions - Chanel Egoiste, One Million, Gucci PH-1 (supposing it's available)?

    More suggestions please?

Just to give some info, out of my collection, I just love GPH-2 and TdH. I guess I'm more towards spicy and tea-based scents.

One question: Which of these do you think I'll be able to appreciate - Chanel Egoiste, Dior Homme, Bvlgari Black?

You have the citrus, orientals, and gourmands covered. I think you would benefit from something more floral or powdery, lacking in sweetness, like a Narcisco Rodriguez, one of the pradas, Rive Gauche, or an oud fragrance.

I would suggest you try Chanel's Sycomore from the Les Exclusifs line. It's a rich and woody vetiver...one of the best IMO. If that's too expensive try Encre Noir, it's a nice smoky, slightly "dirtier"...in a good way, version of Sycomore.

Words of caution, don't take most of the recommendations at face value. Some of the recommendations are just for connoisseurs. For example bulgari black has a rubber smell that not everyone appreciates. Vetiver is not for every one. Be careful from leather, some of it is has very strong civet note. My recommendation is to sample before you buy any.

The OP was asking for recommendations based on his current collection. Not fragrances to go blind buy. I don't think anyone here would recommend purchasing something as personal as fragrance without testing first...

Sycomore would be a bit too indulging, don't you think? :P
How about Dior Homme or Chanel Egoiste?
