Dislike them both but of the two - the former IMO.

There are a lot of threads discussing about perfumes with great sillage,
    Just do a little search.

Both have above average projection and longevity and haven't left me wanting in the performance department.

Though I will say Tuscan Leather projects better, while Tobacco Vanille lasts longer.

Overall, I would say that Tobacco Vanille is the better choice.

My favorite fragrance with high projection is New Haarlem.

Both are monsters. Go for the one that you like amongst the two, especially considering that they are complete opposites.

I think it depends on you as a person. Sample both.

I love the smell of leather, so Tuscan Leather probably pips Tobcacco Vanille for me. My girlfriend prefers Tobacco Vanille though. Both fantastic fragrances.

    Thank you for your comment
What do you think about Library collection Opius VI and Interlude Man ? how is projection, silage and last longing? does it really worth?

+1 Tobacco Vanille. Smells better, projects and lasts longer too. TV is seriously strong stuff!

+1. TL is also really nice, and it's my 2nd fav TF frag. If I'm you (and I realize that I'm not) I'd consider decants of both.

I agree with this, get both -they are both wonderful and can't really be compared.

With both, you can also experiment with layer them!

+1 since both are pretty linear.

I'd go for the TV. I like TL but don't find it easy to wear, ie it's uber potent and I really have to be in the right mood or going to a certain type of environment to wear TL. I think TL also smells more intimidating to a stranger whereas TV seems to be something people want to smell and compliment.

I find TV projects unpleasantly like a beast in summer heat, while TL to me dries down to something that smells like TL minus the leather. Overall I guess I prefer the tobacco leaf in TV since there are so many other great leathers out there.

These 2 are my absolutely favorite from the line. And are also 2 of my all time favorite from any house.

I don't get beast mode projection with either though. It's actually just average, which I think is perfect, because I DO get beast mode longevity. You don't want to kill people just so you can smell good lol.

It's not close...TV all day every day.

I own both and for me I prefer Tuscan Leather. I like the occasional raspberry that it puts out.

I have a 5ml sample of TV. It's projection and longevity are crazy... a bit too much for me.

Both are grt on longevity, with TV having the "crowd pleaser" type of projection, while TL is more for parfum lovers...

They are very different, have you tried them? Perhaps it would help to know what is it that you like in these? How are you planing to wear them etc.

    Has to be Tobacco Vanille.
The only problem is that it doesnt end as grand as it starts.

+1 for Tuscan Leather - lasts all day and is a very nice, clean and refined masculine leather with a touch of raspberry scent. It's in my top 3 all time favorites.

-1 for Tobacco Vanille - I found it way too sweet, and after a few minutes that syrupy sickly sweet tone just got really annoying. It's popular, it's good quality ingredients, but you must have a really strong sweet tooth to enjoy this one. It's like a honey stick under your nose, all day long. If that works for you, then you may enjoy this one.

I guess another way I wanted to describe it is... if you are a guy that likes things like gin, burbon, whiskey, etc, then you probably would enjoy Tuscan Leather a lot more. It's gentlemanly and refined. If your choice of cocktail is vodka apple-pucker martini (ugh, why is this even called a martini?!) and other sweet/sugary concoctions, then perhaps Tobacco Vanille may be more your speed.

I hated Tobacco Vanille while I think that Tuscan Leather is a masterpiece and own a 100ml bottle of it.

Both are heavy hitters in the projection and longevity department.

Tobacco Vanille for me. Tuscan Leather is good and all but I can never seem to justify myself putting down the price for it when I've sampled it. Not that I own TV either but I know in thee future I wil be buying it as it's on my list.

Having said that, there's no leather that quite compares to Tuscan Leather, and I feel like Thierry Mugler's Pure Havane has a similar feel to my nose to TV. Not the same but close enough that I'm in no rush to spend twice as much for half as much on a bottle of TV

Both are strong when it comes to projection and longevity, but there are better options available such as Jeke and Puredistance M. TL is a fairly standard but nicely done leather scent that does what it does fairly well. TV, however, I find to be truly repulsive.
