I've been looking for something to store my bottles since I don't have much drawer space left and my clothes have become orphans strewn around the room. I have about 150 bottles and I saw this the other day and thought it might be a fairly cheap way to go. It has a door to keep the sunlight out and has adjustable shelves. It also has peg holes on the sides so I could add more shelves if the wood is sturdy enough. Dimensions are: 18-3/16"W x 15-11/16"D x 60-1/4"H. And here is the link to the item itself: http://www.biglots.com/p/c/carts-and...storage-pantry
The price seems OK and I'm not expecting anything high quality from Big Lots, but thought I'd ask here in case some of you more knowledgeable collectors might have any advice. Thanks
-Cologne is the only fashionable thing that fits me! (Me, circa 1997-present)
Dark, thus seems good. Remember not to place it next to a heat source, but possibly in a cool place in the house.
anything is better than just leaving them out in the open where sunlight might rob your scents of potency
i just use old shoe boxes and keep them in the closet, dark and away from heat
"I dream of a world where the truth is what shapes people’s politics, rather than politics shaping what people think is true."

Hard to say without seeing how the rest of the room is decorated.
Thanks for posting this, i'm going to check it out.
Looks ok to me, just place it in your basement where it is cool and dry and you're good

"A beautiful fragrance to the nose is like good jazz music to the ears, great food to the mouth, and Megan Fox and Jessica Alba to the eyes..."
That looks fine. Just place it somewhere it won't get direct sunlight so it doesn't heat up.
It might be a bit hard to find stuff in there since the shelves are pretty deep and it will be dark in there. You may want to put tiered organizers in there to help see everything, like this one:
Also, IKEA sells cheap LED strip lights that you can install above each shelf so that you can light it up while choosing something. You can connect multiple light strips to one controller and turn them all on/off with one switch.

Great idea, rubegon. Those tiered organizers would certainly help! LED strips bring a nice touch.
Looks useful, practical and aesthetic. In my opinion, a suitable storage space.
