Default Bond No. 9 New York Oud - A more masculine Noir de Noir?

What do you think guys? Any similarities here?

I've only tried Tom Ford NdN which I love but keen to try New York Oud.

To me they smell nothing alike and New York Oud smells more feminine

They don't smell similar to me either. I prefer New York Oud to Noir de Noir, but I always wear New York Oud in combination with Chez Bond because I get self-conscious when I wear New York Oud by itself. Both are very potent scents, NdN requiring 2-3 sprays, and New York Oud requiring only one spray for myself.

I find it masculine , in fact I have a very old attar marketed for men, which smells quite similar . New York Oud is nothing like Tom Ford NdN, and and find it far superior to NdN.

I don't find any similarity between the two either. I prefer Noir de Noir, but I also enjoy wearing New York Oud (was my SOTD yesterday). The only comparisons I see is that both have rose notes and have great longevity & projection.

Cool thanks for the responses guys- seems unanimous that they're near identical to one another :P j/k.

Sounds like NYO is a little bit challenging to wear so i'll tread lightly.

They are the best from each house and they are exceptionally strong. NY Oud will choke you out if you are not careful.

Not similar at all. I prefer New York oud. Last forever. NDN doesn't last on me like other TF . I don't know why?
