Hard to know but a very very long time in my case.
dont know if this subject has been touched upon but i was just wondering how long does an average (3.4oz?) bottle of cologne last you guys...... especially if you wear it daily
Hard to know but a very very long time in my case.
There is a thread somewhere on here where some guy actually breaks down the total amount of sprays and the amount that comes out, and about how long it would last if you wore it everyday....you may wanna do a search for it.
If I remember correctly (I read about this five years ago), it is an average of eight (8) sprays per mililiter (ml). Therefore a 3.3 oz bottle would be equivalent to 800 sprays. If you spray it 5 times per day, this would last 160 days.
So, a bottle would last approximately five months of continuous wearing;
This will be directly related to the number of fragrances one has. But I don't think you are going to do any better than the one above.

Yea, It was broken down about a year ago here on BN, the average was about 8-9 spritzes for 1ml, 100ml bottle= about 900 spritzes, divided by 3 spritzes/application= 300 applications, wearing something 3times/week = 100 weeks or almost 2 years. Of course this is really rough. There are frags I only use 2 spritzes, and some atomizers suck, they spay a weak stream of liquid out. so really it is rough estimate. Creeds, Bond no 9, Amouage, Montale, Mona di Orio have decent sprayer nozzels. Theirry Mugler, and some other dept. store frags have sucky ones.
Anything between a few months and a few years, roughly estimated, depending on the frequency of my fragrance applications.
There's only 1 bottle (a one ounce bottle of Aventus) that I may possibly finish in the next year. It's 90% gone, I've owned it over two years, and I wear it about once every week or so. When you own more than 30 bottles, you never finish anything over an ounce.
All depends on the amount of sprays. Some people go crazy and some conservative.
Once, I finished a 6.7 oz bottle of Extra Vieille Jean Marie Farina very quickly, because I would spray it all over my chest every 20 minutes or so. I was addicted to it.
about 6 months.
Want to trade - Chanel Platinum Egoiste for Dior Eau Sauvage...
Kevin at Now Smell This did a pretty involved breakdown of this a few years back. You can read through it here: http://www.nstperfume.com/2008/08/19...llection-last/
Depends on the juice inside......your climate.......your personality.........your skin chemistry.......
I use many sprays, I'm THAT GUY !
I use a 100 ml bottle on average a month - I apply 2-3 times a day.
But only use the same frag maybe 10-15 times a year......
Creed: 6-7 sprays = 1 ml
Dior: 8-9 sprays = 1 ml
Chanel: 9-10 sprays = 1 ml
Bond no.9: 11-12 sprays = 1 ml

At least a few years for a 1.7 oz or larger. I have over 130 bottles, most of which are 1.7 oz or larger, and I rotate all the time. My bottle that's probably closest to being finished now is my 1.7 oz Live Jazz, which I have had for about 3 years now.
Though I also have a 5.1 oz Hugo, that's about 65% full, was 100% when I got it from a swap. I've only had it maybe a year and a half or so. It's one of my go to fragrances when I can't decide what to wear, because it's so versatile; at the same time, it is original.

My Ultimate Top 5:
24 Platinum (2012)
Burberry London (2006)
Eau des Baux (2006)
Arpege pour Homme (2005)
Given the size of my collection and the fact that I don't want to be " that guy", my bottles last for a long time. I haven't finished a bottle larger than 30ml in the last three years.
I don't have a signature fragrance. My signature changes a little bit every day, why shouldn't my fragrance?
Four months for 120 ml!
I've changed my strategy, now I wear one single fragance non-stop, until it is through. This way I get acquainted with the fragrance's charms and aware of its nuances (as my capabilities allow!)

Honestly, recently I've gone through a 3.3 bottle of TdH and Lolita Lempicka in about a month. I apply each multiple times a day. I've gone through a 1.7 of TdH in just about a week and a half. Talk about overkill. :-/
Haven't been able to finish one, as I have 40+
