Default Millesime Imperial or Sel Marin

With apologies for the slightly boring topic: I'm looking for a salty, fresh belter for those unbelievably hot summer days. I was thinking either MI (which I've sampled and really like), Sel Marin, or perhaps something else. Any opinions or recommendations are very welcome. Cheers, Tom

Both are great though my pick would be MI for that creamy melon on a sea breeze accord.

If not MI, try Virgin Island Water.

Like both, but prefer MI. You could also try Erolfa.

I'd go with MI. I have yet to open my sample of Sel Marin, but I just love MI.

They are both great scents and happy to have both in my collection. If it were a choice between one or the other, I am with everyone else so far, MI.

Millisime Imperial is a great scent, but longevity just kills me with this one! If you go with this one...just carry an atomizer. SEl Marin has excellent longevity and is also very nice. Bulgari Aqua Marine Toniq is also a winner.

Both are great scents, Sel Marin smells like your at the beach or a small island surrounded by the saltiest ocean. However MI is just the more versatile, better smelling scent. MI could be an every day, every occasion scent, while Sel Marin is less versatile.

Thanks for the great feedback, guys. I think I'll sample Sel Marin as this scent really intrigues me, but MI's a certain buy for my summer collection - I got some decent longevity from it, which is good news.

Heeley Sel Marin. Probably my favorite salty summer fragrance.

MI. I do wish it lasted longer, but while it's there, it's great.

I prefer MI of the two in terms of creation and quality. I love the melon note in MI and it works well with the sunny accord.

I'm also reading good things about Bong No. 9's Wall Street. Do you think this might be worth a sample?

Millesime Imperial if you want to smell good and elegant.

Sel marin if you want to smell like a dirty harbor with a few dead fish in your pocket

Wall Street isn't bad, but nowhere near as good as MI.

    Sel Marin by a mile.

MI is (let the tomatoes fly) overrated.
Not only is it boring, it has poor lasting power as well.
