Thread: Dior Homme.

  1. #1

    Default Dior Homme.

Theres a bottle available to me of dior's homme 100ml, at about 40$.
now the thing is there's only the reformulated dior's homme avaliable at my local mall to sample and im not sure whether the bottle i can buy is vintage or reformulated, the code is "0YO3"
assuming i like the reform, is it safe to say i would like this one, assuming its vintage.

can anyone let me know what version it is ?

was the vintage version a lot more floral than the reform, which i believe has more coco than the vintage ?

so have they tried to make the reform more masculine by reducing the iris ?

I would love if you guys would be able to help me out over here.

    Regards

I'd just get it whatever version it is. It's a wonderful scent.

I searched under Dior Homme code, and there are great threads listed there on comparisons, and also codes. You might try that, and get some good info.

Your code indicates vintage, or pre reformulation.

December 2010 to be precise about the code, this is the production timestamp.

November 2010 seems to be the date that it was produced. This would make it vintage.

thank you for your replies, they are greatly appreciated, but according to the thread cello mentioned, september '10 seems to be the last vintage batch, while mine is november'10, would that mean mine's reformulated ?

The differences between formulations are quite subtle. Please don't let any of that stop you from enjoying this superb scent in any incarnation.

Go ahead and buy it, reformulation is a great scent as is the vintage. They are both great.

Buy it. All the various incarnations are great. I prefer the vintage by a smidge, but would be almost as happy with the current.
