Default There is No More Habit Rouge Eau de Cologne

Guys, I've been trying to find bottles of Habit rouge EDC but I couldn't find any. Then I decided to check at the official Guerlain international website. They list Habit Rouge EDT and EDP, but there is no mention to the EDC. It is now extinct. They don't make it anymore.

The EDC is my favorite in the Habit Rouge line because it is lighter and the topnotes are more present and mix really well with the heart of the perfume. I must find more bottles of the EDC.

If you know where to buy the EDC, please tell me. I will be buying at least two more bottles for myself. Please help.

    Thanks Hednic.

I don't understand why they discontinued the EDC.

There were heaps of EDC bottles on sale down here in the various discount places a few years back - which usually augers that a discontinuation is likely.

You could also look for the EDT Legere. Fresher than the EDT.

A shame indeed. However, I am at least happy that the EDT and the EDP are still available.

I am a huge fan of the current Habit Rouge EDT, EDP, and parfum, but the Eau de Cologne is still my favorite. I bought up the last of the EDC from an eBay seller and paid almost $80 a pop. I have some vintage and some modern EDC, and I prefer the vintage.

You can find huge splash bottles of it easily on eBay for reasonable prices. As long as it's still clear in color it should still be good. I've smelled quite a few Habit Rouge bottles that were from the 60s and 70s and were wonderful.
    My Top Ten:

    1: Guerlain - Habit Rouge
    2: Guerlain - Jicky
3: Guerlain - Mouchoir de Monsieur
    4: Guerlain - Shalimar
    5: Knize - Knize Ten
    6: Caron - Yatagan
7: Caron - Pour Un Homme
    8: Jean Desprez - Bal a Versailles
    9: Yves Saint Laurent - M7
10: Salvador Dali - Dali Pour Homme

I purchased my NIB 6.8 ounce splash bottle of 1980s vintage Habit Rouge Edc right here on Basenotes from the Items For Sale Board last year at the terrific bargain price of $93.25 shipped. I saw it available and jumped on it immediately. So glad I did...Love It, just Love It!!

Box and bottle look like this one, but in the 6.8 oz size, that had been for sale on ebay at $238.99:

This one is even harder to find than the EdC!

Just don't get Habit Rouge l'Eau - that is very different.

Yeah I get mine on eBay. I turned a friend of mine onto this because he liked Noir by Tom Ford and I told him to try this and he liked it better. There's a light yet dusty quality to the EdC that is nonexistent in the vintage EdT I also own. If I had to compare it to any other scent it'd be its feminine counterpart, Shalimar Eau Legere but that's sweeter. And IMO Habit Rouge Eau Legere is not as satisfying as the EdC.
