Lightbulb Jil Sander Pure Man: Can Someone tell me some words about it?

People say Jil Sander fragrances are always well done, however, this one have few reviews. I wanted to know more about it as i found one bottle for a fair price.

I own this and like it. If you like Vanilla, Mahogany, and Sandalwood, you might like this.

One of the few "mineral fresh" (in a strange, but positive, pleasant way) male fragrances I know.

Curious, I own something I thought was Pure Man by Jill Sander, but it's not the same bottle as yours.

Attention: these are the notes in "Pure Man" but not for the pictured "Man Pure". Ken_Russel on the other hand describes Man Pure.

"Pure Man" is a totally different fragrance then "Man Pure" (which is the discontinued one pictured above).

Yes their naming and their packaging is extremely confusing. I like Man Pure very much and it is hard to find.

You are right! I put the right picture but the right name in the thread should be "man pure", release from 1981.

Fragrantica list "Pure for Men" which is the one I have, and Jil Sander Man 1 (Man Pure) which is the one in your picture.
The Basenotes Directory lists Jil Sander Man Pure (original) (discontinued) 1981 and Jil Sander Man Pure (new) 2004.

The new version of Pure (for men) is an odd scent. I put it on and it promply disappeared in two hours. But then it did the same as Gucci Rush and came back with a vengeance about 8 hours later, when triggered with some perspiration.
    Regard,
    Renato
