Default Clive Christian: X or C?

I have come quite a ways in my fragrant journey and decided to give this house a try. Of the three I sampled (No. 1, X, and C), X and C left the most favorable impressions. As I keep going back to my samples, I can't help but appreciate the craftsmanship behind these compositions. For those of you who own these, which one would you recommend?

Have both and like them equally. If forced to choose - X

I don't know why anybody would buy C. Smells exactly like Tuscan Leather at twice the price.

C is a MUCH better version than Tuscan Leather and own both. I do not care for X.

I don't care a whole lot for either but if forced to choose, I'd pick C. However, C reminds me of Bond's Brooklyn. Anyone else think so?

I voted X. I've been thinkin' 'bout gettin' some for awhile now.

As much as I hate to disagree with someone with a Bob Dobbs avatar, C is nice, but IMHO C and TL are pretty close.

X has it's own thing going for it - I like it in winter, nice for an evening out. C didn't do much for me at all.

Curious, do you own this and if so did you acquire the 50ml or 100ml size?

The size I have it in, unfortunately, is the 0.7ml size from Lucky Scent. I do like it quite a bit though, so I do see a bottle of this in the future - but I have quite a few more urgent fragrances on my list first, but maybe by the end of next year!

I almost always purchase the 100ml size (even though I am beginning to realize that is way more than I will ever use for most of my fragrances) Just because (1) the added price is so small that I feel like I am getting a much better deal for the 100ml, and (2) that I assume the juice is preserved better in the 100ml bottle longer even if I only wind up using 30-50 ml of it (just from air/juice ratio).

I see you wore the Imperial Jubilee version of #1 today... Is that the same thing in a different bottle, or is the scent slightly different from #1?

Actually there are four different versions. There's the general release of No. 1 for men in the gold bottle 50ml which is the pure parfum spray. There were two limited releases of 250 worldwide each for men and women - Imperial Jubilee (Red Ribbon) and Imperial Coronation (Purple Ribbon) also 50ml which are more concentrated parfums than the original release with just a few top notes changed each year, and then there is the Limited to 1,000 yearly, 30ml No 1 for men pure parfum (non spray) in the crystal bottle which has the most concentrated formula of the No. 1 pure parfum series. The first three I purchased as they were released. The last was a birthday gift given to me by oldest son
