Default Tom Ford Extreme - Interlude

Went to selfridges today. Thought i may as well try some new stuff.

Versace Eros, Nice this, on my hand and keep sniffing.
Bella Bellissima - Noble Incense, Expensive but very nice. 148 for 50ml DAMN!

So this morning i sprayed my self with tom ford extreme for work. I sampled Amouage Interlude and sprayed my hand. All day i have been wondering why this reminded me of something.

Got home and was moving my bottles around then saw the tom ford bottle. Ding.

I'm not saying its exact or even 10% close, but there is something i smell in the interlude that reminds me of tf extreme.

TF Extreme is very under rated.

Layered with 1 spray of black orchid could be good.

Love Tom ford Extreme and see it as a modern rendition of the classical masculine fragrances of the 70's/80's. I dislike Interlude man for the overdose of that kitchen spice accord called oregano.

I am with you on this one Jack. Never thought about it, but yes I can see similarities. I prefer Tom Ford Extreme.

Probably the smokey leather accord in both. But Interlude is much more smokey and spicey, for the first few hours of Interlude is like walking through a forest on fire. TFE is much softer with some fruits and truffles. Interlude though has atomic longevity and projection, you can't even wash it off.

I'm a fan of both though.
    Current top 5:
    1. Puredistance M
    2. Kilian Apple Brandy
    3. Amouage Fate Man
    4. Andrea Maack Coven

For me tf is tobacco. I just love interlude and that incense note.

Some very minor similarities - but 2 very different creatures. Own TFE, and have a split of interlude. Don't like interlude man at all -- like mentioned by others, I don't like oregano in fragrance - at all. But apparently some people do...

Agree that there are very minor likenesses. Personally a fan of neither.
