Allure Homme Sport, by a wide margin
Hi Everyone, this is my first post and I am searching for my second Summer fragrance in my collection. I have never liked Summer fragrances because the majority of them sour on my skin, and have always used Cool Water (getting my flame suit on).
Anyways, I'm trying to choose a second summer fragrance and have narrowed it down to Terre D'Hermes and Allure Homme Sport. I can find them each for about 70 dollars (please let me know if there is a cheaper place), and was wondering which would you guys recommend? I know they're not very similar, but I have a mild form of Pica which makes me love Terre, but Allure Homme Sport has also grown on me and both smell great on my skin.
Thanks a lot for any advice.
For 21 old I would go with CHanel. It also has some sweetness so it should not go sour on your skin.
TOP 3 hot weather:
1. Gucci Pour Homme II
2. Lalique Encre Noire
3. Thierry Mugler Pure Energy
TOP 3 cold weather:
1. Eau des Baux
2. Dior Homme
3. L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme
Although TDH is one of my favorites and definitely in my top 5 scents, but I find it somewhat heavy for summer even for night times. No difference EDT or Pure Parfum.
I prefer to go with lighter and cooler scents in the summer...
AHS. TdH just makes me wanna gag..
Current favourite: Spiritueuse Double Vanille
Both are great, but I'd go for TDH (AHS would do great too, but TDH is less commonly worn as a summer frag).
I personally prefer TdH.
I own both and I'll choose TdH for more formal occasions where you want to feel clean and smart. AHS on the other hand, for something more casual and fun. Both work great in the heat.
Why not try Dior Homme Sport??
Aventus pairs CW really nice!
I'd go with AHS. Beautiful smell
Terre d'Hermes for anyone regardless of age of the two.

Voted for Terre d'Hermes
TdH by a wide margin. It's not the norm, smells fantastic in all seasons so you can continue into next fall and winter and has great longevity and sillage. I wear the EDT. I find the citrus/orange shines in warm weather and the woods comes out in cooler weather
"As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round."
AHS no questions asked. I went through a 2.5mL sample and finally purchased it yesterday, wearing it as my SOTD, amazing fragrance.
With TdH one day I like it a lot, the next day I don't like it. It all depends I guess.
I would go with AHS. A little more versatile IMO.
The Chanel in the Edition Blanche.
Based upon what you already have I would say TdH. Cool water is a safe scent IMO and not soooo unique. TdH is a little more unique, it has substance. Is warm and woody enough to be masculine and project but is citrusy enough to wear in warmer weather. If you don't go with this I would say Chanel Blue over Allure homme sport.

Allure Homme Sport because it is a fresher smell.
I'm still on the fence with Terre, I'm not sure whether the earthy vibe would be good in summer.
if i had to make a choice i'd go with terre but there are much more suitable scents for summer.
Seasonal favorites :
Winter : The Dreamer & Burberry London
Spring-Autumn : Bvlgari Pour Homme & Prada Man
Summer : Bvlgari Aqva & Aqua Fahrenheit
All-Rounders : Terre D'Hermes & Bleu de Chanel
TDH has more complexity and style. Do buy both one at the time.
Thanks for the responses everyone!
honestly TdH is NOT a summer fragrance, nor is it a 21 year old fragrance. though, if you like it, it may be fine. But still not great for summer. I see it as a 3 season fragrance. Summer night is a maybe. summer day, especially the hot ones, need something fresher like AHS
TdH, i think the Iso E makes it smell different than your typical citrus scents
