Duc De Vervins - DV Fragrance for Men (Parfums Claire)

Aloha from Hawaii!

Have any of you heard of this perfume house? I picked up a bottle of this
stuff at Neiman Marcus, and they told me that it's an old company that grows
all their own "ingredients". They also said that there are only two places
that one can get this at, and one is NOT Sephora. It's a wonderful scent, to
me...although quite expensive ($100 for 120 ml).

Anyway, I've searched the internet for more info on this company and their
fragrances to no avail. Anybody have any clues? I'd like more info on this
scent in particular.

PS. Anybody try that Alfred Dunhill "Desire" yet? Any good? I ordered a
bottle of Lolita Lempicka au Masculin (it hasn't arrived yet), but I tried
it yesterday from a sample at Sephora and it doesn't work well with my
chemistry, so I'm gonna sell my bottle once it arrives (3.4 oz). Anybody
interested in picking this up from me? I'll sell it below cost, for sure (if
not, it goes up on eBay on Monday :-).

OK...I've found out more about this fragrance.

It's called "Duc De Vervins" by Houbigant for men, 4 fl. oz.

I've seen it on the net (a few different places) for under $30 for this 4
oz. size!! Why is Neiman Marcus selling it for $90+ a bottle? Any ideas? One
place I saw it at was fragranceblvd.com (legit?). If you have any advice for
me, I'll be happy to take it!
