Highly recommend checking these out. I was the same way and for some reason thought they all smelt the same lmao, But one tip would be when you go smell them, smell them all and dont be afraid to. When I went and smelt these the lady only showed me a couple and I was about to walk away and decided to smell the rest and I was glad I did!

Just received all these which I bought blind:

    Zirh Ikon
    Chopard Noble Cedar
    Chopard Noble Vetiver

I am quite pleased with all 3. Nothing that will crack my top 10 or anything, but they are all really nice cheaper fragrances.

I will also be receiving my bottle of Tam Dao in the next day or two -- That will make me very happy - one of my favorite sandalwood fragrances.

Piper Nigrum. The opening is a cacophony of notes and quite medicinal but dries down to a beautiful pepper. I like it a lot.

I think you're referring to the other diptyque with the number 34 in the title... that would be "34 boulevard Saint Germain" which is not the same as "l'eau de 34". Diptyque confused the hell out of me!

A lot of great pickups in this thread. Noble Cedar seems to be a hot fragrance at the moment. I think I counted 3 or 4 so far. I've noticed it's been getting some recognition on the forum lately.

Yes, I am. I didn't realize there were 2 with 34 in the name!

The openings my favorite part! But I've smelled a few different bottles and sometimes it's nice and bright and alive and at other times it seems a little flat. PN is something I'd probably repurchase if I found it for the right price.

They say it is a lighter version of thr 34 st Germaine for the summer, but I think they are totally different . Both are my favorite from that line.

Black Oud by L M Parfums. Definitely one I purchased for me and no one else. Far from a "safe" perfume.

My most recent purchase that I have received as of yesterday, Eau de Baux and Set Sail St. Barts. Both of which I am very happy with. I have to give Eau de Baux a real good full day, but to start, it's very good. A mixture of freshly cut wood (cedar) and expensive vanilla (not the cheap dollar store vanilla I usually associate with vanilla frags.) Set Sail - St Barts smells wonderful as well, but I've only had it on for about an hour. St Barts can be bought at very low prices, I'd highly recommend picking it up as a summer aquatic, it's not like anything else out there I've tried.

Not really a mash up, it's supposed to literally smell like the Diptyque boutique in Paris. Candles & fragrances together, at least from what I read. Totally makes sense when you give it a sniff. It's good stuff.

Glad to hear it -- doesn't get much love here. The first 20 minutes are just heavenly imo.

LOL. Good for you, Sparky. That's a great fragrance. I just sampled it last week. 100mls should last you a while!

I just got a bottle of Philosykos too. It's great. For some reason, I've never tried VIW. I think it's one that would be a pretty safe blind buy.
