I have to admit, I'm a little intimidated by the AdP "blue bottle" line. It seems there are so many of them I wouldn't know where to begin. But I've always been curious to try them out.

One house which I've never even sampled anything from. Their coffret looks cool, though.

It's definitely a 'different' scent. I have it too, and I like it a lot, but I'm very careful in where I choose to wear it. It does a great job of evoking the buddhist monastery though. But yeah, it absolutely catches people off guard!

It was a blind buy for me based on notes/reviews. Didn't like it much with the first test spray, and stuck it under the sink. Once I finally got around to wearing it, I was surprised how much I liked it. Just in time for spring. Despite the t-shirt bottle, I think it's a good office scent. Think I paid about $35 for 125ml.

Fine choices indeed, sir! I love the Armani Prive range and instantly enjoyed both of your purchases when I smelled them. It's long been a toss-up between those two and Cedre Olympe for my first Prive bottle.

I just received my bottles of MR, Vetiver Tonka and Ambre Narguile from chinamen_6. Suffice it to say, I'm pretty stoked.

Thanks. I was pretty stoked too

Out of the whole Armani Prive collection I liked most of them, but really loved maybe 4 or 5, including Cedre Olympe. The other one I almost bought was Bois d'Encens but I couldn't justify the cost!

Ambre Narguile intrigues me as do some of Hermès other scents from the Hermessance collection. Unfortunately, I've yet to have had the pleasure of testing any of these. They are now high on my must try list!

Got an awesome deal on a mostly-full bottle of Neroli Portofino after draining my decant. Love the juice & it's a beautiful bottle to boot! Also finally decided to buy a bottle of the new formulation of Dior Homme after loving the original and not trying the new. Have to say, while I still love the old formulation, I think the new one is great as well and I'm happy with it.

Oh, & also have been very happy with a fairly recent purchase of Guerlain Homme L'eau

Last purchases have been Black Afgano, Dzing!, and Idole de Lubin; and I am more than happy with them.

I also got Santos Concentree, but I haven't even opened so I can't confirm how I feel about this particular bottle although I have sampled the fragrance before and love it.

I just bought 60ml Puredistance M and was delighted to learn that it was available in this size. After going through a 17.5ml atomizer, I was ready to buy the 100ml bottle. Strangely, the 60ml bottle was slightly cheaper per ml than the 100ml bottle and hence a better value!

Highly recommend checking these out. I was the same way and for some reason thought they all smelt the same lmao, But one tip would be when you go smell them, smell them all and dont be afraid to. When I went and smelt these the lady only showed me a couple and I was about to walk away and decided to smell the rest and I was glad I did!

I am quite pleased with all 3. Nothing that will crack my top 10 or anything, but they are all really nice cheaper fragrances.

I will also be receiving my bottle of Tam Dao in the next day or two -- That will make me very happy - one of my favorite sandalwood fragrances.

I think you're referring to the other diptyque with the number 34 in the title... that would be "34 boulevard Saint Germain" which is not the same as "l'eau de 34". Diptyque confused the hell out of me!

A lot of great pickups in this thread. Noble Cedar seems to be a hot fragrance at the moment. I think I counted 3 or 4 so far. I've noticed it's been getting some recognition on the forum lately.

The openings my favorite part! But I've smelled a few different bottles and sometimes it's nice and bright and alive and at other times it seems a little flat. PN is something I'd probably repurchase if I found it for the right price.

My most recent purchase that I have received as of yesterday, Eau de Baux and Set Sail St. Barts. Both of which I am very happy with. I have to give Eau de Baux a real good full day, but to start, it's very good. A mixture of freshly cut wood (cedar) and expensive vanilla (not the cheap dollar store vanilla I usually associate with vanilla frags.) Set Sail - St Barts smells wonderful as well, but I've only had it on for about an hour. St Barts can be bought at very low prices, I'd highly recommend picking it up as a summer aquatic, it's not like anything else out there I've tried.

Not really a mash up, it's supposed to literally smell like the Diptyque boutique in Paris. Candles & fragrances together, at least from what I read. Totally makes sense when you give it a sniff. It's good stuff.
