Wiping the laugh-tears from my eyes over the swearing car navigator. Good therapy that. Thank you, Jon.

Kalli and any in need, I send you superpower vibes and bone-crushing hugs. Happy birthday, Shoegal, wherever ya be.

As an escalating hermitress and contrarian, I'd loath having to do team-building antics, too. I'd have stood up and made a speech to that effect if forced to attend. "Are we children!?" ... yadda, yadda, rant.

One more day of tolerance for keyboard work and weather suppression, then emancipation, shovel and cart lie just beyond. My greatest bliss. Sunny, orangey Boucheron fits the mood.

The details I shan't bore you with, but Mr. Q and I had an unplanned conversation with a power-that-be yesterday, which has us consumed with thoughts of this special building. Think good thoughts, and maybe one day I'll have details to share which could bore no one who enjoys a good, true story. (A resemblance to The Cotswold Perfumery cannot be ignored.)

Wine O'Clock approacheth and the mood is mellow. A chicken bhuna is ready in the slow cooker, the onion bhajis seem to have worked, and two bottles of cabernet sauvignon should provide a welcome accompaniment. Uncorking 3..2..1...

SotE is MFK Cologne Pour Le Soir.

    Have a great weekend

    Q, how intriguing!

Concentre d'Orange Verte and just a dab of Dior Addict. Probably too much. We'll see ...
I send thee this sweet perfume a fragrance to the fragrant, as one would offer wine to the god of wine.

Dipped into my sample/decant stash and decided on Dragonfly Blue's Hazelnut Truffle - hazelnut, chocolate, oak, vanilla. Her woody based fragrances don't work as well on me as her others, but it seemed like a cozy pick in the freezing cold weather this morning.

Larimar, I know what you mean about chianti. It’s always such a pleasant surprise to find one that’s really good. The last time that happened for me was about 16 years ago! I bought and inexpensive chianti from a wine shop to have with pizza or something, and as I sat sipping from my glass, I was hit with a “Wow!” It was so nice, nuances of cherry, cinnamon, a little chocolate. That never happened again. I think it must be very hit or miss with chianti.

Wine o’clock here tonight will be sake with take out sushi. We’re ready for tomorrow’s showing of the house to prospective buyers. I am BEAT. My SotD is my latest love, Violette in Love by Parfums de Nicolaï. I blind bought the half bottle Arwen Elf listed on her sale thread. I love VIolette in Love. I’m in the mood for violet.

Kiliwia, I don’t know what you are going through, but I sure hope circumstances improve for you soon. Sounds like your hubby is sweet, trying to cheer you up. Everything changes eventually, dear – even rough patches. Hang in there.

Jon, I always love your photos, and the video was exactly what I needed this afternoon. A good laugh with tears and cheeks hurting and everything. B-belle likes to watch Gear Head (is it called?) so he will enjoy that, too. I hear you on the team bonding/team building too! Ugh! Groan! Torture!

Evangeline, I’ve been meaning to tell you I love Beige. You smell lovely!

Blowing a kiss Quarry’s way, just because.

Love to Everyone (especially all you sexy little alligators!).

Thanks lilybelle! I bet you smell rather fetching in your pretty violets, too.

I'm in Annick Goutal's Songes for the evening.

Hey there, PLady - you sure smell purty! But I was just thinkin', if you could hold off on that back-up for a bit, you might be able to help me (and ExtremeK) out by buying hers, in the (highly unlikely) event that she doesn't like it, hehe. I have absolutely no recollection of this, but I apparently boasted to Tony that I'm not addicted and don't need to buy any more perfumes ...for a while, so I'm going to see if I can show him just what sort of iron-will I have ...for a while. Naturally, if you're out of the lovely stuff and don't want to wait then go ahead and order it, but if you have a little left for a few more wears, maybe you could wait just a bit longer and see what happens ...? I don't mean to be presumptuous, but you wouldn't have any objections to that ExtremeK, would you?

My apologies, Kiliwia! I'm glad all is well.

Kalli, I hope that this weekend will bring a turn around for you.

Been watching events in Watertown/Boston on TV.

Wearing a dab of African Violet, a violet scented perfume oil, on top of Violette in Love.

Well, good evening, slipping in before the closing bell.

Today was Jailia (pretty sure that counts as a small house) and tested the Tauer Noontide Petals, which is lovely but rose just does something yuck on me after awhile, as usual. ah well.

Oh, yes E., I have plenty PR to last awhile. Just meant I should grab another just in case-gasp!-it should ever be discontinued. I'd be happy to take your place in the deal with ExtremeK if needed! We'll show T. who has willpower. That boast must have been made while under the influence, lol!

Guerlain AA Jasminora tonight. Good-night, all!
