Guess Seductive Pour Homme Blue

It's almost summery here... which is a damn good thing in my book!
Today's scent is the growling, furry original Shiseido Rose de Nuit. It's one of my absolute holy grails.
I had wine o'clock last night, too , so I shall continue in style... last night to watch the sunset was a good Chianti (I can't remember I had a Chianti I really liked in the past twenty years or so...). I'm having visions of a Burgundy for tonight.
Best to all

Morning fragrant ones. Its a glorious sunny day today but with a little prick of a chill and that is perfect in my eyes. So i am. Going with:

Happy Friday everyone
Good morning all !. In synch with Cotswold Perfumery Oberon.
Glad to be back after yesterday - my idea of hell. Words cannot express my contempt and loathing for this "team bonding" crap companies seem to love nowadays. Had to go into the capital to a plush hotel hired out by the company (who constantly harp on about saving money ) to listen to self-congratulatory management B/S, followed by "team activities" with a bunch of people who I barely know. The icing on the cake ? - the finish was perfectly timed for the worst of the London rush-hour. How I pity those who have to endure it on a daily basis. I was tempted to go with 10 sprays of Black Orchid just to get up everyone's noses but went with VC&A Cologne Noire instead. Am I any better for the experience ?, can I do my job more efficiently as a result ?, was it all a pointless waste of time and money ?. Answers on a postcard ....
The mood is considerably lighter now as I am on leave today, relaxing, watching the odd DVD, and mulling over which sumptuous repast to conjure up for Her Ladyship after her day of toil.
May as well include an excerpt from a DVD I have just been watching - probably doesn't say much for my juvenile humour but a little Friday silliness should lift the mood further on the countdown to Wine O'clock. Enjoy your day !.
Happy Birthday shoegal68 You are missed ...

Happy Birthday Shoegal68
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

It was this or the Carnal Flower today.....but this is like a soft cocoon. Much needed for crazy fridays in London as described by Jon Rodgers! Thankfully Mr Jon after yesterday still manages to put up the beautiful photos for us!
Why do so few perfume houses not put the sensible protective bags like this for being able to take the fragrance when away from the home.
@ Jon Rodgers.....so well put. The idea of *team bonding* has always been joke in my experience. Thankfully it is not suggested to me after my first experiences. My first boss thought it was funny that at times I refused to participate in the *company enforced fun events*. Just let me do my work.....I can choose who I want to socialise with all on my own!

Have a lovely weekend all.
Well, today I am honoured. I'm the first person around these parts to try out the new Liz Earle number 100 scent on skin, which is a lily of the valley- heavy big blousy floral. I'm friends with the local Liz Earle counter lady and her sample bottle arrived this morning ahead of next Thursday's launch, so she allowed me a dab
So I'm all floral today

Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan

Shoegal, happy birthday to you and many fragrant returns!
JR, how right you are! Company enforced bonding is something else, there are people at work I would not know what to talk about. Therefore, they consider me dull, I sp'pose. Or, using the words of earlier this week, "beige". Let them!
In synch, with Natori. I love it so! Too bad it is not even in the Directory.

I do loathe team building events... Much rather be at my desk working.
Today I am celebrating making it to Friday after a hellish week with PdE Wazamba

My new love shame it's so quiet, wears very close to the skin.
What I've Been Wearing:
Jon, I'm chortling! "Forced family fun" is definitely a pain -- I empathize.
Larimar, I'm with you -- Chiantis generally underwhelm me.
However, Arquiste does not underwhelm me! And I'm finally synched today in Boutonniere No. 7. And now for the weather update: it's still cold here (low 40s F), but at least the sun's out.
Happy Friday, all.
l've just worked eight days without a day off, so l'm more than ready for the weekend!
LOL at that clip, Jon, thanks for the laughs! lt seems "team building" events are universally loathed; why do they even bother?
easyfish, shouldn't Irisch Moos have a picture of some cows??
Wore La Tulipe today, will decide on my SOTE in a bit.
