Default My Bois d'Orage and Sycomore are too heavy for summer, "lighter" green recos?

I'm a big fan of fresh green frags and have been wearing Bois d'Orage and Sycomore a lot this winter, but on a recent warm day the Bois d'Orage I was wearing really radiated a bit too much for my liking (and it seemed to dry down to a heavy petroleum note). Does anyone have any recos for fresh green niche frags (no citrus please) that are a bit lighter and more appropriate for the summer and still have good longevity?

So far I've tried Guerlain Vetiver (new formuation, I don't like the citrus), Menthe Fraiche (vanished quickly) and Fou d'Absinthe (loving it so far), other suggestions appreciated!

Exactly. Mugler Cologne is another good one.

I would add Divine L'Homme Infini - smells similar to Bois d'Orage, but perhaps lighter and certainly okay for summer.

Also: Frederic Malle Vetiver Extraordinaire and Creed Green Valley and Green Irish Tweed.

Not niche but should fit the bill otherwise... Eau de Campagne by Sisley. Also Frank (No.1) by Frank Los Angeles.

Really green - dandelion and basil, really nice stuff, but like a super natural green fingered Mugler Cologne.

I find Sycomore relatively fresh, but many people, like you, find it too woody for summer. There's a sharp woody note in Bois d'orage that turns me off - summer or winter.

The freshest vetiver around, and quite long lasting, is Vetiver Extraordinaire, which was already mentioned. Other fresh vetivers include the Dior, the Goutal and the Lubin (the last two are rooty).

My green favorite however is Paco Rabanne Metal, which not a vetiver, it is floral. But it's hard to find.

Jumped on to recommend some vetivers as well. Can't go wrong with Vetiver Extraordinaire, but I'll also add Etro Vetiver and Comme des Garçons Vettiveru as two brisk, dry takes on vetiver that would match warm weather without being the standard "fresh" sort of thing.

I've been testing the reformulated Route du Vetiver yesterday and today and it does seem a bit lighter. Love its take on vetiver, though.

Have been wearing Sycomore and Bois d'orage too this winter, switched to Creeds Royal Oud lately. Although it does have some citrus you should try it!

You said you tried MF, so perhaps Geranium Pour Monsieur or Original Vetiver would be more to your liking.

If you're interested in green florals, I'll second Cacio's suggestion of Paco Rabanne Metal.

I'll also add vintage Givenchy Insense and Le Labo Iris 39. Also Diptyque L'Ombre dans L'eau.

Vettiveru +1 it really has a fresh and green drydown and seems a little different everytime i wear it. Same notes but just shifting between playing lead actor and supporting roles.
